Wonderful meal!

We headed into town intending to go somewhere else for dinner but they were closed so we made a last minute switch to Lanai City Grille. We sure won out on that! We visit Lanai often and always eat here at least once (twice on this trip). There are many changes happening on Lanai, and this includes this restaurant. They have changed some things in the interior but mostly, they have revamped the menu. The variety on the menu (with comparable price points) is very good. As usual the service was great... More

We were in Lanai for only 3 days, and chose to come to this restaurant 2 days in a row. The food is very good, ingredients that you can taste the freshness. I had the Catch of the day the first time. It was pan seared sea bass with baby bok choy and fingerling potatoes, absolutely delicious. The fish was... More

To be fair, both of the Four Seasons were closed when we were in town, so this was the only choice for a celebration style meal, but it was great, and I'm not sure I'd choose differently if there were more options. The funny thing was thay there were 3 birthday tables while we were there, it seems the place... More

Please know that when we traveled to Lanai both the Four Season resorts were closed. So to say this is the best place we ate on Lanai. Very special place. Located in the historic Hotel Lanai. The food was excellent - I actually had their special Prime Rib (yea I know - in Hawaii!). The prices were high - just... More

Special food in an old style setting. The Grille is located in the Lanai Hotel so you get an old colonial atmosphere. The staff even made a special birthday dessert for our party.

We ate here while staying at the Hotel Lanai. Food was average and a tad bland. Prices were HIGH. Staff was attentive. We went down to the Blue Ginger Cafe on our second night and had a wonderful meal for 1/5th of the cost. I had the Bulgogi. Not much seasoning (pretty bland) and meat was fatty (I could only... Great food and service in the historic Hotel Lana'i--excellent food, great selection of wines, and a small but decently stocked bar! We were there for Fathers Day and chef recommended the steak & lobster--I was not disappointed. Innovative twists on their salads, I had beet and goat cheese, shows creativity and style are in fashion in Lana'i City. Be sure... More

My husband and I ate here 2 nights in a row. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef does an excellent job of putting together some great combinations that compliment each other. Our favorite was the daily flat bread and the candied bacon. The chef even came by each night to ask how we enjoyed our meal. My husband loved... More
