We were looking forward to our dinner at Lanai City Grille to celebrate our last night on Lanai. We wanted "to step back to plantation times" and enjoy dinner. However, the restaurant which also had a bar just started Friday night happy hours. It was very well attended and people were having a good time. But for the diners, it... More

We dined at Lanai City Grille one night while staying on Lana'i. So very glad we did. We had 10 in our group so made reservations (which are recommended). The service was amazing. When they brought our food out, the entire kitchen staff left the kitchen and each person's plate was placed in front of them at exactly the same... More

When next on Lanai you must eat in this restaurant. It was the old HOTEL during the Dole Pineapple Days used only by the Executives. There is a quaint B&B attached. The ambience is lively, friendly and the food is usually good!

My husband and I dined here in May. It was our third try and last at this restaurant. I really wanted to like it because so many people seem to have good experiences, but unfortunately we never have. Each visit we tried something different: meatloaf, fish, and lastly the vegetarian stack. All of the dishes were average at best. On... More

We stayed at Hotel Lanai and were very excited to eat in the restaurant, Lanai City Grille, while we were in town. The chef is making a name for herself and menu is very diverse with a wide range of options for people with varying tastes. There is a lot of comfort foods as well as the traditional foods of... Very nice spot if you are looking for a change from the hotels restaurants. Great food, we had steaks, seafood and rolls. Good wine selection as well. Excellent service and not too expensive. So a must go if you stay a few days in Lanai.

The food was excellent! The menu had a lot of great variety, and the server was really helpful in explaining how the dishes were prepared. The restaurant was a little warm - particularly for dinner so don't worry about needing a sweater.

This was a favorite spot to eat outside of the resort!! Closed on Mon/Tue but well worth scheduling around that. Food is excellent!! Best sea bass I have ever tasted. Don't miss!!

We have dined at Lanai City Grill twice this week and twice last year. The food is terrific, the setting and service is classy, yet casual and the prices are fair. The Sea Bass dish is a house specialty. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings and reservations are highly recommended.

Evening Live bands make this fun if you are there when the music is playing. Quite refined inside you will see it has a blend of what makes Lanai a one of a kind island.
