We'd heard the buzz about Lanai City Grille from the moment we landed. Went to dinner on a Wednesday night and were blown away. Simply the best sashimi tuna in Hawaii. I had the sea bass, my husband the venison. No problems accommodating my dietary needs. Dinner was so delicious we had to return Friday night. Had an amazing white... More

My husband and I ate here twice... the food was very good and well presented by their friendly staff. I loved the bacon wrapped scallops and my husband really enjoyed his fresh mahi mahi. The salads were yummy, too. The best part was the location...since we were staying at the Hotel Lana'i, but this restaurant is worth the drive... lovely... More

The Grill is a great option to the resort restaurants. Food, service, and value were good. The place was packed for a weeknight, with a lot of locals. Definitely a must for a nice dinner. Based on our experience here we visited the Gannon's on Maui. There was no comparison, eat there on Lanai, miss the one on Maui.

We had a great experience at this lovely quaint restaurant! How nice to meet chef Ella and thank you for creating the gluten free delicious ahi dish with mushroom fried rice and grilled broccoli. The marinate pork dish my husband had too was tender and tasty! We will be back and we will tell Oruro friends about our lovely night... More

We read the reviews and had high expectations...we weren't disappointed. The location is a lovely old original 1920's plantation hotel-boarding house modernized where needed without losing it's character. Their menu is full of great local fare with lots of flavor presented simply without complicated heavy sauces that some restaurants seem to feel they need to use. Their creed seems to... More

We had read a lot of recommendations for this restaurant, sadly it did not live up to our expectations. We found the food was excessively seasoned, we had different items from the menu, and everything including the veg appeared to be cooked on a grill. The portions provided were large. The service was excellent and the setting attractive. The restaurant... More

The food here is the best. During our 9 day stay on Lanai, we ate here for dinner on three occasions. The atmosphere is unique considering the fact that the facility was built in the 1920's.

We dined at Lanai City Grilled two times during our stay at the Four Seasons Manele Bay. During our first dinner there we were immediately plotting our return visit. The menu had variety and interesting flavors. The only think we would recommend to the restaurant is to offer more options with the entrees - mashed potatoes are rather heavy -... More

Cannot miss with a Bev Gannon restaurant. Here they have dishes representative of all 3 Maui restaurants. Crab Dip!!! Joe's Meat Loaf!!! Ask for Mike. He will take good care of you.

I recently took tow friends to have dinner at Hotel Lanai's restaurant,Lanai City Grille. Everything was superb. I had the best Sea Bass dinner I have ever had. The atmosphere is friendly yet elegant and that staff were charming. I go to Lanai frequently and always eat there at least once on every trip .
