Nice little stop by while driving up the mountains. Yummy Veg Quiche, I ordered and hubby ordered the Hamburger Steak. Both home cooked and very lodge/country feel to this place. Walk around this area and walk through the small trails and visit the museum as well. Overall a very comforting place stop by!

So we spent the whole morning exploring Waimea canyon, which was beautiful, and decided to grab a bite to eat at the top. I generally try to keep my posts positive, but this was a complete waste of time and money! The service was snail paced, the food was mediocre at best, and the two bags of chips I had... More

We had the BBQ pork. It was very good. The coconut pie was the best we had ever had. The pie itself gets the 5 stars. Stop for the pie even if you don't eat a meal

If you're hungry then this is your only stop but it is clearly lacking maintenance. The food itself was average but I didn't like being served on paper plates and that is clearly not sustainable mostly if we're in a park. I also expected greater service with more of a cozy feeling.

We only order Liliikoi pie and coffee, we have eating here before but only wanted a small amount of food to replace no luncn. It is a serve yourself place. I can't imagine what the cabins are like. Needs a total remodel...

Nice place for a stopping off up the mountain. Don't miss the cornbread and Portuguese soup. The Chili is very tasty. Nothing fancy up here, just good food.

The guide book recommends this restaurant, claiming it is hearty food. Well, I think the corn bread and chili are decent, but the burger patty is just okay. But if you do not plan to do picnic up in the canyon, this is the only proper restaurant you will find. It is on canyon drive, just pass 15 mile. But... More

Like others have said, being the only game it town clearly helps this place stay in business. The service is quirky (Want a soft drink? The waitress points to a cooler and says "serve yourself."). The food is haphazard, unremarkable, and I suppose I should be happy that I didn't come down with food poisoning. It was apparent to me... More

This restaurant has a good selection of snacks and even sells souvenirs. Definitely recommend the Portuguese bean soup. It is very good. Drinks are self service. Wish we had gone earlier then we could have breakfast here as they have a good breakfast menu. Sandwiches are quite pricey.

A decent place for lunch, and convenient while visiting Waimea canyon. The Portuguese bean soup was not bad, and apparently scratch-made, though not very flavorful. Cornbread was additional cost, but was a good way to round out the lunch. All windows along the front, and we enjoyed people-watching (and chicken-watching) out in the visitor center parking area. Overall better than... More
