My wife and I have eaten here 3x now, each visit was great food and service. I think they might be the best steak place on Kauai, but their other dishes are equally enjoyable. The waitresses do a wonderful job looking after you. They have a simple salad bar that is just right and their soup is fresh daily (made... More

We loved the tiny salad bar with unique selecting of veggies. The soup was nice too. We had the fish and the chicken stir fry and loved them both. The staff was friendly and very good. In the town of waimea probably the best place to eat.

We were taken by friends, wouldn't have gone on our own. Waimea is such a close community, our friends knew the proprietor. I had the special, a Garlic New York Strip - it was perfect. Just the way I ordered it. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy what they had. Their salad bar is lacking assortment, however if you... More

We had a great garlic steak and sword fish dinner. The steak was tender, full of flavor and kissed with the perfect amount of smoke. Sword fish was also great topped with a wasabi sauce. The dessert sampler was good too. Love the plantation ice tea.

This place was a little on the high dollar side, but it was worth it. Very good steaks and Mai Tai's. You can sit outside and enjoy the view of Waimea. Highly recommend it.

The restaurant sits right on rt 50 and we eyed it on our way in to the park. We stopped afterward as we were hungry and in low blood sugar territory. I had the pork with cabbage; Rick had the chicken stir fry. Both were excellent. The price for the quality beats the resorts, hands down! Everyone was friendly too!... More

We all had the teriyaki burgers with soup and salad bar. Burgers were awesome and the Portuguese bean soup was excellent. Price was a bit steep but that's expected. When we cashed out our server clearly looked at the $17 tip we had on the table and still didnt inform us that gratuity was added to the bill. So we... More

We have always made it a point of scheduling a dinner at the Wrangler on our trips to Kauai. The food is always excellent with a good selection of local seafood on the menu and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and the whole site is informal and laidback.

not a great resto but does well because it is basically the only game in town. it's average fare with no twists, creativity, or panache. the whole place seems to be mired down in the 1950s or 60s. like anything else on Kauai, it is not cheap for average food.

Stopped here for dinner. Nice to be seated outside. Staff nice and friendly. Soup and salad bar underwhelming but the steak and seafood specials were excellent. Must have peach cobbler for dessert!!!
