Kaua'i grass -fed beef

It can be very disappointing in Hawaii to realize that so much of the food is imported. At Wrangler's Steak House however the beef is from Kaua'i, grass-fed, and you can taste the difference. Our steaks were well prepared, medium-rare as we requested and the entire meal was very tasty, like an... read more

We stopped here for dinner March 25. We parked in the back lot and came through the rear patio dining area into the hostess area. The restaurant was not crowded. We waited 6 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge us; we were the only people in the immediate area. Upon being acknowledged, I inquired if there was room on the... More

Wish we'd gone down the road to Paco's Tacos rather than wait nearly 30 minutes at 8 pm for average food. We could've been seated earlier, along with other people who were waiting, if they had bussed the empty tables sooner. Once seated, the waitress was very friendly & service was pretty quick. Our meals came with the soup &... More

We tried it for dinner. The service was beyond slow and disorganized. When we finally got our drinks and put in our orders, we went up to the depleted salad bar and came back to our table to find our nearly full Mai Tais gone. Yep dumped by some oblivious staff member. My steak was good but not local. My... More

Because of what I do, I get to see all of Kauai, all of the time. Parts of Kauai can get pretty busy of late and we have got to thank the Dept. of tourism for doing such a fine job. What does that have to do with a restaurant? Well, some folks come to Kauai to see the Kauai... More

The hostess was very disorganized. We waited a LONG time - unnecessarily - because the hostess didn't know which tables were empty/available. We could clearly see it and had to tell her, so we could be seated. After all that hassle, the food wasn't the greatest. It was just ok. I wouldn't recommend. Don't bother - many other places on... Was a little disappointed here, hoped for a real "Texas" type steakhouse, order the garlic T- bone, although the steak was cooked correctly the cold canned garlic was just spread on top of the steak before serving- a but more attention here and it would have been a great steak , salad bar is tiny, mashed potatoes were cold, sorry... The salad plates were actually tea cup saucers!! Sure, you could go back as many times as you wanted, but the salad fell off the plates while you were eating it. The salad bar had very few items on it. I agree with the other reviews......both of our steaks were cooked well done! We asked for medium. They apparently only... More

Stop here every time we go through Waimea for lunch. Try to get a table on the front porch. It may be a little noisy from the traffic but just watching the world pass by makes it well worth the seating. All of their food choices are excellent. The steak with oyster sauce is delicious as is the tin pail... More

We had lunch. I had the pail? Lunch and my husband had a fish sandwich both were great. Very friendly attentive service.
