End of the Day,,End of the island..starved and stumble upon this delicious little western restraunt. The 5 of us were treated wonderfully and our drinks were continually refilled. The STAFF courteous and pleasant answered all many questions letting us know the beef came from the local large ranch, the planation tea was made adding passion fruit syrup & pineapple juice(excellant)... We holidayed in Kaua'i recently and was staying in Waimea. This restaurant was just across the street from us and boy were we glad. The steak grilled on kiawe wood was to perfection - even when ordered blue! The open salad and soup bar had really hearty and delicious soup too. Service was really friendly and good. Mud pie was... We came here for lunch after work one day, and expected to eat in the main dining room. The only part that was open is their "saddle room" to the right of the restaurant, which specializes in burgers. The menu is extremely limited, if you are looking for something other than burgers I wouldn't recommend it. They had two salads... More

This is the 2nd time coming to this restaurant. (We came the year before) and we love their steaks. I had the Deep fried caper steak will hitch is really just fried on the edges and top. The juices just poured out of it. It did not have an overwhelming caper taste. Just a hint. The mashed potatoes were a... More

We were wet and exhausted from hiking in Waimea. I knew we would be hungry and we stopped here after seeing it across the street from the grocery store where got snacks for before the hike. We got burgers and fish sandwiches. They were all very good and the service was good. We had the salad bar with our meal.... More

We visited the Wrangler Steakhouse in Waimea since it was close to our vacation house. Although this was a "back up plan" when I couldn't think of something to cook at the vacation house, it was a great decision! The food was excellent. The locally raised beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and attentive. The... More

Great food. Local hangout, so we knew it was going to be unique. Pork was delicious! Full of flavor. Asian influence was evident and unique. Great value for the price and a fun, historical venue.

We had the pupu sampler platter: calimari, crab cake, shrimp, steak. It was good. The plantation ice tea was tasty.

This was a stop on our way to Waimea Canyon and a great find. The menu is traditional steakhouse and so is the atmosphere. My hubby had the pulled pork and talked about it the rest of the trip, I had the Wrangler burger. This is a steakhouse, so keep that in mind when ordering. The staff are friendly and... More

We stopped at Wrangler's for dinner after spending the day touring the Waimea Canyon. The staff was friendly, service was good, food was not. The Ahi sashimi was not fresh and I nearly couldn't eat it. The korean style spare ribs had very little meat on them and were mostly bone and gristle.
