We were out west looking for something to eat, and actually picked this place because it was the only restaurant we could find. It was kind of expensive for the way the place looked. We got the cheapest things on the menu. I can't remember the name of it. But it was a burger patty with onions, mushrooms and gravy... More

Great place. Had lunch on the way back from the canyon. Excellent service and food. Very fresh food. Nice deck out front. We were sad it was so far from our condo in Kapaa or we would have went back. Well worth the stop!!!!!

We were looking for a place to eat for lunch in Waimea, on the way to visit the canyon. It's a bit rustic with antique western decor. The food that we had... My husband had the tin dinner, and I had the fish special (striped marlin) sandwich. My husband really liked the tin lunch, stating that " he had never... More

This was the best meal of the entire vacation. You must try the kay kau tin lunch and the plantation tea - is is delicious! We stopped in our our way to Waimea Canyon for lunch. It's a cute restaurant and I picked up a souvenir tin and a bracelet in the gift shop. Price is very reasonable and the... More

This nice restaurant had delicious food! I ordered the meats steamed in the 'can' and it was great! The gift shop had some very cute items. On the way to Waimea canyon and a great place to stop for a meal!

End of the Day,,End of the island..starved and stumble upon this delicious little western restraunt. The 5 of us were treated wonderfully and our drinks were continually refilled. We holidayed in Kaua'i recently and was staying in Waimea. This restaurant was just across the street from us and boy were we glad. The steak grilled on kiawe wood was to perfection - even when ordered blue! The open salad and soup bar had really hearty and delicious soup too. Service was really friendly and good. Mud pie was... We came here for lunch after work one day, and expected to eat in the main dining room. The only part that was open is their "saddle room" to the right of the restaurant, which specializes in burgers. The menu is extremely limited, if you are looking for something other than burgers I wouldn't recommend it. They had two salads... More

This is the 2nd time coming to this restaurant. (We came the year before) and we love their steaks. I had the Deep fried caper steak will hitch is really just fried on the edges and top. The juices just poured out of it. It did not have an overwhelming caper taste. Just a hint. The mashed potatoes were a... More

We were wet and exhausted from hiking in Waimea. I knew we would be hungry and we stopped here after seeing it across the street from the grocery store where got snacks for before the hike. We got burgers and fish sandwiches. They were all very good and the service was good. We had the salad bar with our meal.... More
