We were doing the tourist thing on Kauai, visiting Waimea Canyon, Barking Sands Beach, sightseeing and it was lunch time. Wrangler's Steakhouse appears on the front street, seems nice, let's give it a try. This was a quaint place with period decorations, very Hawaii. I ordered "Kau Kau Tin Cup" because it sounded different. This dish was served in the... More

When you are on Kauai you can not visit the famous Waimea Canyon on the coast NaPali. So, when you go down Romai is lunch time and as somhow compelled to stop to enjoy a delicious meat cooked in front of you at the BBQ outdoors in this small restaurant that recalls the style western? Absolutely! Nominal cost, taste, guaranteed!

This is a nice place to patronize if you are looking for somewhere to eat before heading up into Waimea Canyon. The food was good and the service was excellent. Prices were typical for Hawaii, especially considering the location at the "gateway" to the canyon. We left there very satisfied with our decision to stop in.

We were out west looking for something to eat, and actually picked this place because it was the only restaurant we could find. It was kind of expensive for the way the place looked. We got the cheapest things on the menu. I can't remember the name of it. But it was a burger patty with onions, mushrooms and gravy... More

Great place. Had lunch on the way back from the canyon. Excellent service and food. Very fresh food. Nice deck out front. We were sad it was so far from our condo in Kapaa or we would have went back. Well worth the stop!!!!!

We were looking for a place to eat for lunch in Waimea, on the way to visit the canyon. It's a bit rustic with antique western decor. The food that we had... My husband had the tin dinner, and I had the fish special (striped marlin) sandwich. My husband really liked the tin lunch, stating that " he had never... More

We holidayed in Kaua'i recently and was staying in Waimea. This restaurant was just across the street from us and boy were we glad. The steak grilled on kiawe wood was to perfection - even when ordered blue! The open salad and soup bar had really hearty and delicious soup too. Service was really friendly and good. Mud pie was...
