Sat on the outdoor deck and had the ribs. very good size portion, great taste. There were at least 4 people serving my table... so the service was excellent. Excellent location. I found the prices ok, by Hawaii standards (which is typically very expensive). If you're in Waimea, go to Wranglers.

First night on Kauai after 28 years of waiting to come back, found us in the small town of Waimea. Non assuming, quaint, and non of the "tourist" catering ambiance (although they did have a small corner with trinkets). All personnel were friendly. Not gushing, but all upbeat and seemed actually interested in your well being. Although the mai-tai's had... More

I am a group leader of a volleyball team from Ontario Canada. Our entire group was welcomed for a meal at Wranglers on March 14th and we had a great time. Wranglers provides an excellent atmosphere, we even enjoyed live music during our meal. We had a combination of Steak and Chicken which was delicious. We will be back for... More

The fish was lightly battered and wonderfully fresh and tasty. Cute little gift shop. The staff were very pleasant but the service really did use Hawaiian time but worth the wait. The tables were situated outdoors and there was lots to see, view and talk about. Would definitely return.

The very interesting older building was probably the highlight of our visit. We were really looking forward to some good beef after a week of seafood. Unfortunately, during our visit, the chef seemed capable of cooking at only one temperature - well done. While my wife's steak and my hamburger both had nice flavor, neither were anywhere close to the... More

We somehow weren't drawn to this restaurant on our previous visits but decided to try it this time and were so delighted that we came back several times. Visitors to Hawaii often criticize service but the reality may be our own expectations. Hawaii has its own style, its own pace, so I don't expect the service I would get in... More

After a few days of local food, we began to search for some red meat. We arrived early, 5:00, and the server seated us immediately. I had the filet and my husband had the rib eye. I made the best choice, with only a $3 difference. My steak was cooked exactly as I requested and was delicious. The ribeye was... More

Good food, good service, nice decor. The salad & soup bar, although small, had some nice items. Live music and hula on Saturday night.

On our last day in Waimea, we wanted to take family out for our last dinner and for our appreciation. I chose your restaurant....We waited over 1/2 hour in line to wait for a table and the hostess was very rude. We finally told her we will sit ourselves at a table and then waited another 5-10 minutes for our... More

Pure serendipity we ended up here. We'd planned to eat in Hanapepe, but didn't find what we wanted, so drove on to Waimea. Most places were closed, but Wrangler's was open & could seat our party of 5 at once. Everyone enjoyed the meal -- we had dishes varying from prime rib to steak to Japanese tempura (I had that...
