We actually stayed at the Grand Hyatt and drove up north for lunch one day. We found the pool to be very nice but almost a little too sleepy. The menu and service were just fine but again nothing really blew us away, except for the view.

This is the high end restaurant on the entire Island. Exceptional food - it is a Jean Georges Restaurant. Excellent good and service with views of Hanalai Bay from cliffside.

View is incredible for sunset but they need more food options for the venue. Drinks were ok but I would expect more effort for a resort that size. Was always some entertainment after sunset for a limited time.

dropped by the st regis terrace to catch the late afternoon views, and have a couple of drinks and snacks. the views are great, but be warned- the late afternoon sun turns the terrace into a broiler. the drinks were bland and overly sweet. the appetizers- hamachi sushi and a special roll - were ok, but not more than that.... Took in the sunset and it was awesome. Lots of room on the balcony to get a few shots. Get there a little early to get a seat out on the balcony if this is what you want. Most everyone there was willing to help with taking a picture. The service was great even though she had about 100 people... More

The outside balcony seating area has a beautiful view of Hanalei Bay, perfect for sunsets! In side area has comfortable couches and chairs for large group seating. Bartenders know how to make a good drink!

If paying $16 for a drink or a flute of California sparkler ruins your experience, don't come. It's very expensive. On the other hand, the ambience is fantastic, with an open air porch looking across Hanalei bay to the mountains. If you prefer AC, stay inside for the great bar staff and nice (jazz/folk-pop/lite classical but not Hawaiian) music. The... More

I am a little at a loss why this place is so highly rated. First, you come here for the view. It is spectacular, amazing, etc. Drinks are $16 and no spectacular. The property is quite dated having been built long ago. At some point it will need major renovation. We stayed at the neighboring property, Hanalei Bay. We walked... More
