Lappert's in Hawaii specializes in hawaiian flavored ice creams. Wonderfully rich, smooth, and delicsious. I personally recommend the Kona Lava Java (Kona coffee ice cream with deep chocolate sorbet). Your visit to Hawaii is not complete without having some Lappert's ice cream.

They have a few 'standard' flavors you'll find anywhere -- chocolate and strawberry. But the majority of their offerings are ones that showcase the special flavors in Hawaii; kona coffee, macadamia nuts, coconut, pineapple, etc. The ice cream is very rich and smooth -- no ice crystals!!!

Looking for real ice cream, this is your place when in Princeville. Not for those watching the calorie intake. But if flavor is what you want, you have to go to Lapperts Ice Cream. We had dinner at Frederico's and cooled down the heat with Lapperts' Ice Cream. It hit the spot!

We only stopped once, but their pineapple coconut ice cream is pure heaven. A great island treat that I will dream about. Lovely area to sit outside and enjoy.

They were so good that we returned for a second time before leaving for home. My favorite flavor had coffee ice cream with macadamia nuts, coconut and a chocolate fudge swirl. Mmmmmmm, mmmmmm, delicious!

Lots of choices but stick to the ice cream. The gelato is grainy and not very good. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the lovely shopping mall.

Cute ice cream shop. It reminds me of the Jersey Shore. The selection of flavors weren't extensive ... but the ice cream was vert food. Our family favorite was cookie dough.

Everyone in our party loved Lappert's. Just going by the place early in the day when they were making the waffle cones was a treat for the senses.
