Stunning views

We enjoyed dinner, the staff was friendly but it is the views for which you are paying. I had the rainbow roll and a lovely salad with beets and maytag blue cheese. He had the scallop appetizer and short ribs. All were acceptable, probably the best were the salad and his short ribs. Service was... read more

The view was absolutely stunning. Will not disappoint if you time it with sunset and it's not raining. Bread and special butter was amazing. Filet and lobster ok. I grill better mahi mahi. Super disappointing for the prices. Great desert though! Still a wonderful evening and I say go if you don't mind spending $200 for 2 for a mediocre... More

We only ate here for their famous Sunday brunch buffet so I can't speak about the service but I have to say this was one of the best brunches I've ever been to. And I'm not really a fan of the brunch buffet. The assortment of food was amazing with everything from oysters on the half shell to a prime... More

The best restaurant in Princeville. Excellent food, great staff, beautiful views. A night you'll remember. Be sure to ask to sit outside.

My husband and I reserved a table for our last night on Kauai. We were promptly seated at a table near the waitstaff station upon arrival. The view was beautiful and the sun was setting, so we didn't mind that we hadn't been greeted by a server at first. After at least 15 minutes, we thought it was odd that... More

View at sunset is spectacular, almost as good as from my bedroom window. Food is great - alcohol is expensive.

What can you say about the view?...Sublime...If you want the breakfast trough then the buffet is for you...$38...porkers aside...the Makana Terrace Eggs Benedict are wonderful...$24...the best I have ever enjoyed...not a heavy Canadian bacon version buried in a processed hollandaise glop...This is a smaller English muffin with light pink Norwegian salmon crowned with a perfectly silky egg that is prepared... Make a 6:00pm reservation or sooner and request a table on the terrace for a great view of the sunset and Hanalei Bay. The service as always was great and the food enjoyable. A little more relaxed than the Kauai Grill which is also in the St. Regis Princeville.

Unbeatable view, but prices are high. Expected it from previous reviews. The champagne cutting with a sword was a good start to the evening.
