Beautiful view and lovely food

The view was lovely on a gorgeous terrace overlooking the bay and mountains though you couldnt really see the setting sun, the glow was still there. The food I thought was lovely as was the wine, with prices to match! Made a lovely farewell on our last night. I dressed up a little but many were... read more

The view cannot be beat. Overall, the food wasn't extraordinary but the fresh bread and homemade flavored butter were memorable.

The perfect spot to celebrate my partner's birthday. This was definitely worth the drive from Poipu. Beautiful.

We arrived with a weeks-in-advance reservation for a sunset dinner to be greeted by an incredibly pretentious hostess assigning tables with a clear bias in favor of hotel guests. Fortunately, a glimpse of the unforgettable views can be had from most every table. Service by the wait staff was competent, however, the meal was disappointing. The Uku was unexceptional and... We saw our server a total of 3 times while eating. The food was okay, but it was not worth the price tag. Views made up for the food, but we will not be returning.

This is our second time in 8 years. The last time we were there was when the hotel was still the Princeville in 2008. Thanks and kudos to Stephen Devin, the St. Regis Concierge, who made our reservation 4 weeks in advance even though we were staying at our adjacent timeshare property, the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. Mahalo!!! The... More

St. Regis hotel and the view of Hanalei bay was spectacular. The hamburger was over cooked (well done when we asked for medium) and had no flavor. The miso soup was nasty (they comp ted it) The ahi poke was such a small portion and totally not worth it (more watermelon and a pretty plating and not much ahi). The... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but we wanted to have a nice meal at this beautiful property. You'll drop about $100 for a good meal, but you expect better food if you're going to spend that kind of money. So I would've rated this an average, except for the outstanding view overlooking Hanalei Bay. Best oceanfront view I saw... More

The Makana Terrace is attached to the St. Regis on Hanalei Bay. The view from the St. Regis and deck of Makana Terrace has a sweeping view of the bay and surround cliffs. The view alone is worth spending a meal at Makana Terrace. Truly one of the more breath taking spots in the world. The food is very very... More
