There cannot be two opinions about the great setting. Food is decent but not worth the price. St.Regis should offer better quality for the prices charged. It is worth the experience for the setting and I wish that the food was better.

The view here is fantastic. It is a lovely place to relax. The food here was average. The service was a little slow for breakfast. Lots of families were there with small children so that may have contributed to the slowness.

This is a restaurant not to be missed on the North shore - call ahead and book around one hour before sunset and you will not notice the food and service, which are pretty good, as you watch the sun traverse the mountains - it is amazing even for one that has been to 61 countries. The Sushi is excellent... More

Came here for breakfast. While the view was amazing - the food was ok. It was a simple breakfast with not as much of a selection as I expected for the $35/per person price.

We have eaten at this spectacular restaurant before at the St. Regis. We even had a run in with 007 himself this time . The Ahi was fabulous while the Makana sushi roll as appetizer is highly recommended. Perfect view. The ultimate pictures of the sunset.

The view is world class. The brunch is amazing really. Quality unbelievable. They just added all you can drink mimosas too. Pricey for sure. Hope they still have it for my next trip. I'm so there.

The St. Regis has amazing views from this terrace, it's worth a visit just for that. Be sure to leave plenty of time as you won't want to rush. We had the Sunday brunch, which was pricey but not nearly as bad as feared. We then walked down towards the beach and pool, where we were able to sit and... More

Our 30th anniversary dinner. A wonderful location, overlooking Hanalei Bay (in the St. Regis Hotel) For appetizers we had a “Trio Of Beets” - pickled beet carpaccio, thyme roasted, mango goat cheese terrine, over a arugula Salad, with a sherry emulsion and the Pan Seared Scallops, with caramelized maui onions and kabocha squash puree. For dinner my wife ordered the... More

Located in the St. Regis, I had high expectations for the restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. To start, the atmosphere is splendid. It overlooks Hanalei Bay and is mostly open air (albeit it covered). The tables are not crowded so you aren't forced to listen to the conversation next to you. The view is spectacular. You can watch a magnificent... More

We had Sunday Brunch at the Makana Terrace. Wonderful! Also, we had breakfast at Makana Terrace several times during our stay in Kauai. The food was great and the service excellent.
