Stunning views

We enjoyed dinner, the staff was friendly but it is the views for which you are paying. I had the rainbow roll and a lovely salad with beets and maytag blue cheese. He had the scallop appetizer and short ribs. All were acceptable, probably the best were the salad and his short ribs. Service was... read more

Make a 6:00pm reservation or sooner and request a table on the terrace for a great view of the sunset and Hanalei Bay. The service as always was great and the food enjoyable. A little more relaxed than the Kauai Grill which is also in the St. Regis Princeville.

Unbeatable view, but prices are high. Expected it from previous reviews. The champagne cutting with a sword was a good start to the evening.

Recently attended a conference at St Regis Hotel in Princeville. The conference included oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, but nothing of substance. So I asked the Hostess at Makana Terrace if I could get their Makana Terrace Benedict (with smoked salmon) to go and they said "Of course!" It was wonderful and I was the envy of those sitting around... More

If I could go anywhere in the world and pick whatever restaurant to go back to, it is the Makana Terrace for Sunday Brunch. I love love love it! My husband and I have been to many, and this is by far out favorite. The food is exquisite! Top Chef finalist quality! The view is like no other you will... More

Manaka Terrace restaurant is located within the St. Regis Resort. The setting is lovely, the gfood was very good and the service was excellent. We spent time after dinner looking over the main building that houses the restaurant and a number of different upscale shops….all of it top scale. The only thing that could have been improved is the lighting…it... More

we ate at the Makana Terrace 4 times during our one week stay at the St. Regis and this was by far our favorite place to dine over all the other choices at the hotel. The view was amazing, the service was consistently attentive, helpful and courteous and every dish or drink ordered was prepared perfectly. We never chose the... More

We went for the Sunday brunch, specifically for the crab legs. We would have gone during the week, when it's less expensive, but those Sunday crab legs were calling us. When we mentioned to our server that we couldn't find them on the brunch display, she said, "no, we don't have those anymore." We told her that they were still... More

We went here for the view, and understood the food was quite good. Well, the view is absolutely stunning, and the food was tasty and well prepared. But. ......There are drawbacks. First, we were in the hotel earlier in the day, and inquired to ascertain out reservation was intact. We inquired about what time to arrive, and were ordered to... More

When you stay in the Princeville area, you are a long way from Poipu and the restaurants in that area, and thus your choices can be somewhat limited. For my birthday celebration, we decided to eat at the Makana Terrace in the St. Regis (where we were staying). Even for Hawaii, the prices were pretty high. That being said, the... More
