Beautiful view and above average brunch

We had the weekday brunch for 38 per person. The view is spectacular. The food is fairly typical brunch with omelet station, assorted hot stations, bagel and lox and granola. It was all very good and the service was nice. It included coffee and fresh squeezed juice. It was lacking any types of... read more

Our party of 6 (ages 8 - 74) all found excellent options on the menu! I highly recommend their specialty sushi rolls - out of this world! We arrived early to get a table with a view and did we ever! I recommend making reservations in advance and eating as soon as they open - it is your best bet... More

One of the nicer places in the world to enjoy the sunset overlooking the bay. Sashimi was very good as was the service. Very good breakfast buffet.

My wife and I had dinner at The Makana Terrance at St. Regis. Everything about it was top notch. The food was great. The views were breath taking and our server (Alicia) was pleasant, attentive, and provided remarkable service. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

45th anniversary dinner. Food was outstanding, service exceptional, and view off the map. We were fortunate to get 6:00 seating, which gave us time to try their unique and tasty sangria. We're not big eaters and their portions were perfect.

For my 59th birthday, January 18, 2016, my wife and I along with another couple went to the Makana Terrace for an early evening dinner. It was fabulous. Go early this time of year to enjoy the sunset. The sun will set behind the mountains in the winter, but it is still fabulous. My wife and I shared an appetizer,... More

Not worth the time or the money. We weren't staying there and they treated us as outsiders instead of possible future guests after finding out we didn't have a room there. Food was ok but the portion size was highway robbery for what is costs. Entree was size of our appetizer. Service was slow. Don't let the name of st.... More

We booked at dinner at this restaurant hoping to enjoy a great sunset with world class views and great food. The sunset and the views are one of the best of any restaurant we have dinned in but the food has a lot to improve on. Book early dinner (5:30 or 6:00 seating) to catch the sunset. To describe the... We were first led to a table that was in a strong wind and had to move. After we settled in, we enjoyed a cordial waiter and a beautiful view of the sunset and colorful sky. Our cocktails were delicious as was the sushi. We were too full to order dessert but we were brought a complimentary one to share.... More

This is an absolutely stunning restaurant to dine at. My husband surprised me with a trip to Hawaii for my 50th birthday and he chose to celebrate my birthday dinner at Makana Terrace. He understood it was to be a sunset dinner. Unfortunately in December/January the sun actually sets behind the mountain which somewhat disappointed him but I was still... More
