Yummy Brunch!

This is one of the best brunches we have ever had! Albeit expensive, this brunch offered everything. From antipasto to a chocolate fondue, the choices were plentiful. An omelet station, prime rib, fresh crab and shrimp, and desserts to die for- an amazing experience!

We visited this restaurant on the night of our arrival. Our expectations were what we'd expect of a hotel restaurant. We were terribly wrong. The quality of the food was as good & in some cases than top end restaurants we'd previously been to in Maui. Now, that's saying a lot about the quality of the food. Their appetizers were... More

We were staying at the lovely Westin Princeville Resort and took advantage of the amenities of the location. We especially enjoyed, on a couple of occasions, the lovely Sarah! She was just charming. The food was very nice - a little pricey but, hey, you're at a beautiful resort in Hawaii - what can be bad????

I found this place to be overpriced and the food was just okay. My prime rib was extremely fatty (at least half of it), and it didn't come with anything veggie-wise. My drink was mediocre. My husband had the 8 oz filet and seared Ahi tuna which he liked. Overall, we had better meals in Kauai for the price. I... More

I visited this restaurant as part of a food tour and we had crab cake sliders. The sliders had a sharp tang / bite that I liked (from hot pepper - cayenne pepper, I believe) seasoning but they also had a bedding of some sort of garnish that I did not care for. Bottom line? Interesting. I wouldn't go back... More

The Nanea Restaurant and Grill is on site at the Westin Princeville Ocean Villas on Kauai, where we stayed. My wife had read some so/so reviews about it, and so we hadn't had in in our plans. But then we came back from a long tour, and just didn't feel like going out, so we gave it a try. It... More

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet 4 out of 6 mornings. The buffet changed just enough each morning to keep us coming. Good food, but watch you're plate. The birds will dive right in the second you get up. We enjoyed an expensive dinner one night. I liked the convenience of being on property. It was good food without a view.... More

We dinned at Nanea although we did not stay at Westin and our experience was great. Although the restaurant has an upscale menu and our meal was very good, it is not pretentious and has a good relaxed feel. The staff was very attentive and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality evening without attitude.

Because we stayed at the Westin Princeville Resort, we ate at Nanea several times. Occasionally, we would get a dish that crept above average, but not often. Nanea was convenient, but ultimately not satisfying for the quality and price.

My husband and I were staying on property and decided to "eat in". The restaurant was recommended to us by family. We had an amazing meal. I had the monchong. It was fresh and well prepared. My husband had the seafood bruschetta which was like a cioppino. It was on the starter menu but was large enough for a meal.... More
