The service was great, but the lunch price for crab melt is a bit much for what you get, even in Hawaii. They serve a nice mai tai though. I guess you are paying for the beautiful view, too. The lunch menu could be more extensive - I will go back for dinner when I return to Poipu. more

We ate lunch at Brennecke's expecting fairly average tourist fare, but were very pleasantly surprised. The in-house veggie burger was fantastic, and the lemon crusted ahi tuna salad was wonderful. Few things can beat a nicely seared extremely fresh piece of ahi. The server could not have been more friendly. A great find. more

We went thinking this was more of an "upscale" restaurant being that it is right on the beach, but it was more of a cafe' style restaurant. Very comfortable and casual is the word. Would rate this higher if prices were down one tier. Better Pupu and happy hour place. more

We stopped to pick up food for a picnic across the street at Poipu Beach. The food was good and not overly expensive. We didn't eat inside the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the food here for lunch. more
