We have loved Casa di Amici for years -- then it seemed to come apart last year. Now Chef Randall is back and our favorites are back on the menu! Service also much improved. Destination dishes: Thai Beef Satay Risotto, Asian Mesclun Salad, Porcini-crusted Chicken with Cherry-Port Sauce (amazing), the fish of the day. Everything is good and generous portions... More

We have been eating at Casa D'Amici for years. Their Poipu location is secured, not a tourist trap. The chef, Randall Yates, is passionate about the food and very creative. We had a ravioli appetizer with mushrooms and a calamari dish that were both wonderful. His lasagna is different and wonderful as is the sausage and peppers. The wine list... More

One of the best and most unique meals I've ever had (Thai beef satay risotto!). Perfect blend of flavors, perfectly cooked. Ate well past the point of feeling stuffed because I sure wasn't going to stop enjoying until I had to. We would have eaten there every night of the trip if we had known it existed before our last... Excellent food & a friendly staff. Delightful chef Randell came to our table with good cheer (as usual). This restaurant is a hidden gem that is unpretentious and welcoming. The sauces are fantastic.

This restaurant is literally next door to Hideaway Cove and we walked over there and had a delightful dinner with excellent service. Since there was no driving involved we were able to drink to our hearts delight,.

The bottom line is Chef Randle can cook. This not the same island menu found everwhere else. Food is expensive on Kauai but here you get exquisitly prepared food in a generous and elegantly presented serving for a fair price. The menu is innovative and no one can top Chef Randle in describing and executing his choices.

Six of us enjoyed dinner at Casa di Amici yesterday evening. The food was delicious. The lasagna was made different than the typical franchise restaurant lasagna. This lasagna had a creamy sauce and was easy to cut into and the taste was aromatic not acidic. The Ahi Tuna Fettuccine was absolutely the best I have tasted. The fish was fresh,... More

This charming open-air bistro style restaurant if just a few blocks off the water in Koloa/Po'ipi on Kauai, HI. Tables were extremely comfortable and not on top of each other, but the best part of this place was the exception food choices: 25% Italian origin or flavor, and the remainder of the menu an eclectic mix of Continental European selections... We've eaten at this wonderful restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. We dined there tonight and had a perfect evening. The service, food and entertainment (solo pianist) were delightful. We enjoyed the salmon served over polenta and the veal marsala with mushrooms and linguine. Both entrees were delicious. We will definitely go back.

A great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. However, it was really hard to get a reservation, called during the day and got some random kitchen worker who told us to call back later, called back later and no reservations available. The place is tucked down a dead end street and slightly difficult to find. Many people assume it... More
