We went here for a special dinner on our honeymoon. Everybody was very kind and helpful. The setting was beautiful, but the food lacked a lot for the price. We spent over $100 for two of us and I was not "wowed" or filled up by the food. Maybe we're paying for the setting, but I'd rather take some good... More

Ate here because my wife wanted to try an upscale restaruant at one of the resort hotels. Food was good but the quantity and cost outweighed the meal enjoyment. Choose a place where you can listen to some live Hawaiian music, have a view and even a breeze while you dine. This place was tucked away in the bowels of... More

All of the restaurants at the Grand Hyatt Kauai have a gluten-free listing, which you can find online, so it made dining here so much easier. Gluten-free bread was brought out upon request, and the waiter was aware of the gluten-free diet. Beautiful setting, good food, great service and gluten-free menu. A pleasure to dine here.

We really enjoyed our dinner at this high-end restaurant. Word of warning--bring your wallet!! But, the setting and service combined with the quality and presentation of the dinners made it all worthwhile. 4 of us visited one evening, and 3 of us had the special, which was a seafood trio of Shutome, lobster, and scallops. All three were done to... More

This was our favorite place on Kauai. Food is good and you are surrounded by the pool full of fish that sometimes you can hear them jump by your side. We always make a reservation very specific by the window. It's one of the most romantic place to eat on the island.

We started with the crispy rice shrimp, for dinner we had the opah and monchong (both are local fish in Hawaii). The opah and monchong were moist and flakey. For dessert we had the pear tart and the white chocolate bombe. The white chocolate bombe is really cool, it's a white chocolate cheesecake base, with coconut, tapioca, papaya and lime... More

The food, cocktails & wines, service and outlook were all fantastic! Prices were on the high side, but no more than you'd expect to pay at any other fine dining restaurant. The food selection was great and cooked to perfection.

We came here 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so we thought we'd give it a try again. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Our waiter, Les, was awesome. The way he described the dishes on the menu left your mouth watering. I started with the lobster bisque and it was amazing. My husband had the crab cakes... More

Go here for the ambiance and the food is good as well. Not a Michelin star but a solid 8.5 on 10. Everything was good except the lobster bisque which was Luke warm and not very good.
