Typical Roy's. Food was good. Would highly recommend the Brussel sprouts. Best I have ever had. Dinner was good. We both had fish. It was fresh with a good taste.

But plan on spending some real $$. Food was good and service was nice, but for the dollars not to even get a slice of bread? If you go save it for your last night.

We always love eating at the bar for its relax atmosphere. All the pupus are excellent. Best was the butterfish, truly first class . The seared ahi is a Roy classic and certainly worth it. This time we had the ribs, also excellent. Wine is a bit expensive, however. Roy will open a new restaurant soon in Poipu; should be... More

I had the Ahi which was melt in your mouth good. The service is incredible, all staff from hostess to busboy ask how your doing and take plates and silverware away when you are done.

My wife and I planned our final dinner while vacationing on Kauai at Roy's and could not have been more pleased. The service and food were great. We shared a crispy brussell sprout and cauliflower appetizer and then I had the ahi tuna and she had the tofu entrees. Both were large and wonderful. We couldn't decide which of the... More

I ate at one of Roy's restaurants for dinner while on my honeymoon. I have severe food allergies and advised our server and the kitchen by providing a card explaining the severity of the allergies and listing them. I was served a salad with salad dressing that I was allergic to. After eating a few bites of the salad the... More

After a week of settling for roadside / café / convenient fare, it was refreshing to sit down to a nice meal. The food is very good by Kauai standards. The fresh fish offerings are predictably bland since they are mostly white fish, but they do their best to counter that with butter and other delicious toppings. The service was... More

We always have dinner at Roy's when we visit Kauai and have dined at many other Roy's including on Oahu and Maui and on the mainland. As usual, the service was topnotch and we loved the edamame prepared with sesame oil that is put on the table as soon as you arrive...positively addicting. We shared the Canoe for 3, which,... More

The food at Roy's was, as always, fabulous. The restaurant is located in a shopping center, and a sidewalk splits the main dining area from the bar area. We were seated at a table that was next to the sidewalk, and the open air doors/windows were open; so shoppers strolling around the shopping area walked right by our table. Diners... More

Roys is famous for its lava cake, but you can't get anything on the menu that isn't delicious. We ate there some time ago, but walking by tonight reminded me how great it is. a bit louder than Kiok's Paradise across the parking lot, it is a step up in terms of food quality, but you do pay for it....
