It was great. Had some sort of Kaulu pork scramble. Yummy. Kids had longboard breakfast. Also very good. Decent service. Good food. Would go again.

Looked like a Hawaiian TGIF or Applebees when we walked in, but food selection is very broad and we were pleasantly pleased with how well prepared the dishes were. waitresses were very attentive. Drinks were well made.

The very good review is for breakfast. We had dinner one night and everyone's fish was way overcooked. Huge portions, friendly service.

There are now 3 Kalapaki Joes on Kauai. All are just plain lousy! I don't like to write things like this, but seriously the food and service are poor. Cheap drinks and beer for happy hour. That's nice. Food is all Costco bought and prepared. We have not been to the new location one can only think that it is... More

We stopped in to try it out and the food was really mediocre. I ordered the pork sandwich thinking it would be Hawaiian pork but in reality, it tasted like one of those supermarket BBQ bowls you heat up in the microwave. I couldn't eat it all. Save your time and avoid frustration, stay away.

We walked in at 6pm with a party of 7 and got arrested right away. Service was fast and pleasant. Drinks were great and weren't outrageously priced. Lots of big screen tvs showing a variety of sports, including the college world series which we were hoping for. The pork nachos were amazing, as were the buffalo wings. They were very... More

There is a good selection of beers and a different game on every TV and there are ocean views. My cocktail tasted like bitters and water with a little bourbon in it. There might be a bit of hit and miss on the menu, but it's glorified fast food and it's definitely very expensive relative to the quality. Service was... More

Happy hour 3-6 offers great food and drink specials. Great views. Like many places on island, it is not air conditioned, but still comfortable most of the time. Highly recommend the surfer nachos.

This was our first time to Kauai. We stayed in Poipu and Kalapaki Joe's was within walking distance from our condo. We decided to give it and we were glad we did. The menu had something for everyone and we all enjoyed our food. For an appetizer we started with the onion rings and they were a big hit! I... More

Great for appetizers and beer. Tons of options. Don't come for the "authentic" dining experience, but a great stop for happy hour. Plenty of tv's for sports fans. Tip: guacamole is awesome!
