A fun place that takes you away from the islands. The menu was varied and used the red salt theme well. Good to excellent food and superb service.

Very good food and drinks. Service is excellent. Prices are a little high but the quality is there. Menu could be a little more expansive.

We stayed at Koa Kea but thought that Red Salt of all the high end restaurants was our least favorite. If you have a choice, we preferred all of these over Red Salt - Tidepools Beach House Dolphin

My husband and I enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Red Salt, located inside our hotel. There really isn't a view, so to speak, but the setting is contemporary and quite lovely. We had a nice bottle of Sancerre, and I thought the wine list was good. My husband enjoyed the Wagyu steak, although he could not say that it was... More

The talented Chef in residence is creative and careful in presenting exceptionally prepared cuisine featuring local ahi and ono as well as many other fine dishes. Staff are superb and Samdi was informative, helpful and a true pleasure.

A group of 10 family and friends had dinner at Red Salt. Dress is polo casual. Service was attentive and friendly, the menu imaginative, and the food delicious. Do try the sashimi pizza appetizer. It was crazy delicious. And yes, we did have the Wagyu beef, lobster and foie burger with truffle fries - again delicious and huge! My grandson... More

Stayed at Koa Kea resort, so my wife and I ate multiple times at Red Salt. Pros: - Fantastic service. I've very rarely commented on service since I have more of a "food-first" mentality. Everyone at the restaurant has a fantastic attitude. - Some have talked about the nondescript decor and setting. I found it very sleek and modern. This... More

By far the best meal in Kauai. You know of you are at a classy place the moment the valet parking greets you. Great food, great service, modern, clean. Waitress knew about every dish. The quality and flavors were unique. Worth every penny. If you u reserve, ask for a table by the window

We stayed at Koa Kea for 5 nights and ate at Red Salt for dinner twice and had breakfast there every morning. The breakfasts were good but tended to take a while. Which is fine but make sure you aren't in a rush to eat. Allow your 15-20 extra minutes to enjoy your breakfast without being rushed! Overall, the service... More
