Beautiful surroundings, great waitress, delicious food....everything we were hoping for.

Had read great reviews of this restaurant and looked forward to eating there while visiting Poipu. The restaurant is lovely and our waitress was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food presentation was beautiful and both our fresh fish and pork dinners were scrumptious! I would eat there again in a minute, though it is pricey. The evening felt special, so... More

We go here every Sunday for breakfast. They have copious buffet, terrific omelettes and wonderful eggs Benedict. The room is minimalist lovely and faces the ocean. Dinner is pricey (The hamburger is $50.00!!!) but the entrées are big enough to share. Do not pass up the mushroom bisque. It is divine. Service can be slow but the waaitstaff is very... More

Breakfast was delicious and always had a modern twist on typical breakfast foods. Dinner was creative and romantic, just try to arrive early enough for a sunset/window table.

This restaurant definitely did not live up to it's ratings. The hotel itself if fabulous but the restaurant needs a new chef or something. Our food for dinner was ok at best. Mine was good, not great and hubby's was terrible. His pasta was sticky and cold. The waitress we had practically ignored us (and we were staying in the... More

I never mind paying a lot of $$ for a memorable meal. This was very good but NOT memorable. The Sashimi Pizza was excellent, but $17 is a LITTLE MUCH for a very small portion (4 inches). Had it knocked my socks off with flavor I'd be OK, but it did NOT. I had the RedSalt Burger (Waghu Sirloin, Lobster... More

Had an evening meal with my wife and friends from Calgary. We all really enjoyed our wine and food. The Waitress was excellent and we were impressed by her knowledge and friendly nature. We would very much recommend a visit.

We went in for sushi based on the reviews and found they only serve sushi in the lounge. Ok, we are flexible. Ordered a sashimi sampler and one role. The sampler had 3 types of fish, 4 tiny slices each for 35.00. And the 16.00 role was smaller than what you would find on the mainland and twice as much.... More

Four of us wanted to visit a nice restaurant in the Poipu area that we hadn't been to before. The Red Salt touts itself as being ocean front so we gave it a try. Given the prices (most entrees were around $40 each, which doesn't include side dishes) we expected top notch food and service. Our server kept stressing what... More

This is an expensive place, which Im ok with if food is great and service is, well let's say they do food well. Our concierge called ahead and got us reservations, and said they would do something special for us, as was our honeymoon. Food was great, but service was efficient, but not warm, and based on the prices, overall... More
