Really excellent sea-food. Beautiful Sunset views for couples. Easy to walk to, quiet location. Not fancy, per se, but quietly elegant and Hawaii friendly. Walk fro Marriott Waiohai right next door.

We stayed at the Koa Kea, where Red Salt is located, so we had breakfast there every day, and two dinners over a 10-day stay. The food is terrific. Wonderful preparation; wonderful service. Try for a table by the window, overlooking the ocean.

My wife and I made the trip over to your restaurant (staying at another resort where we could have easily had a decent meal. The food we had -- mahi and Ono was excellent! More importantly we were completely pleased with our server, Samde (think I spelled it wrong, sorry). This young woman was absolutely the best server we have... More

The M-R-S was excited about this one, tho I wasn’t sure how the previous evening at nearby Tidepools could possibly be topped. Five minutes after seating I was still wondering, and seriously. The atmosphere? Nonexistent. We were basically sitting in the back of a bright and uncomfortable-feeling, boutique hotel lobby, something called the Koa Kea. No music. Just soft voices... More

Service and atmosphere. Had a modern sophisticated feel without being stuffy. Wait staff greeted us warmly everytime we dined and would ask how our day went. They also loved to offer suggestions for day trips during breakfast

I went here for dinner by myself. I had the burger and a bottle of bordeaux (2007 Leoville Barton, a bit too young). The meal was excellent, and while the wine list was small, it had a decent selection. The service was attentive and the restaurant had a nice ambiance.

Excellent food and excellent staff. Many choices of food and served with a smile. The sushi is the best we have had as well as the cocktails

We were told by the locals to eat here. They were definitely right in their recommendation. The staff and chef were excellent. The meal was superb! Atmosphere is perfect, quiet with a beautiful view. It's expensive but worth it. We will definitely eat here again when in Kauai

We really enjoyed everything about Red Salt. We stayed at the Koa Kea and had breakfast included in our package. Had breakfast there all 8 days of our stay and enjoyed it every time. Also had dinner there a couple times and had sushi there another couple times. Justin's sushi is amazing and we enjoyed talking with him as he... More
