Delicious plate lunches! I had the Korean chicken plate and my husband had the beef stew and loco moco. We also got a spam musubi to share, but we were so full we had to save it for later! Warning, it's A LOT of food but it's so good and it hit the spot after a long day traveling!

This place is legit. We had the mixed plate and butter mochi. I loved the butter mochi. Theixes plate is stew, Katsu and beef teriyaki. The teriyaki and noodles are so good. We shared a plate and walked away stuffed. Buy some macadamia shot bread for the road. Yum.

What a fantastic little gem! The food is slow, building is small and busy, but SO worth the wait. Preferred this lunch-plate to almost ever restaurant we visited, including Alan Wong!

Hard to find hole in the wall place with no apparent signage except name hand painted on back of the building (facing the street). I was disappointed in the food. Teriyaki chicken & beef were really tough although the flavor was pretty good.

Mark's Place is advertised as take-out, but they do have several picnic tables outside. Parking is liable to be tight during meals times. There is overflow parking across the street. We had the Opah (fish) in butter and lime sauce. It was absolutely fresh and delicious. On the down side, there was a side green salad that was a little... More

Mark's place looks like a little random building in the middle of an industrial park and that is in fact what it is. Its not fancy and its not big but the food is great! My wife and I wanted to eat some local food at a local restaurant and this one just happened to pop up when we did... More

Firstly I knew the street number but if I didn't, may have found it a little hard to find because they only have 1 sign on the corner building and if you come from the other direction (as we did), you'll most likely to be doing circles. Heard good reviews and though I must try. Wasn't worth the dry teriyaki... More

We loved Mark's Place so much that we ate here twice on our honeymoon. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. I got the chicken teriyaki both times and my husband got the chicken cutlet with gravy platter one time and the chicken cutlet with katsu sauce the next time. Its a great place to eat with delicious local... More
