Local eatery with good food

We stopped by and found this local eatery. It had very good food at reasonable prices. Check out the bakery on the way out for a treat.

When we pulled up to this breakfast joint, we were a little skeptical because it is attached to a sketchy motel. That being said, the food was delicious!!! My wife got banana pancakes with a guava/pineapple jam. The pancakes were light and fluffy and delicious! The jam was very intimidating to eat as it is fluorescent orangy-pink but it was... More

This is one funky old timey place....however if you want a good breakfast this is THE place. The waitstaff push their little service carts around loaded down with your personal order. The pancakes are killer and they may a mango jam in house that is sinfully sweet and great on toast. Don't dress up just show up for good cooking.

Great family restaurant with a variety of items that you can choose from. This is a breakfast/Lunch/dinner place that will sometimes have a line but it moves quickly. The banana Mac nut pancakes are Awesome and there's local food like Oxtail soup and Loco Moco and which is good. The outside of the building looks a little dated but dont... More

Ultimate guide to Kauai said they had great macadamia nut, banana pancakes with coconut syrup and they were right. If a fancy atmosphere is what you seek don't go there. Good food with decent prices(for Kauai anyway). We will return.

We came here after our helicopter tour at Safari helicopters, down the street. We tried the Loco Moco on recommendation from locals and it was awesome. Mashed potatoes, meat loaf, cheese, chilli....so delicious. We also had the pancakes with macadamia nuts and bananas added. They were a good 8-10 inches in diameter and yummy. Prices are very reasonable, where there... More

Wanted to try the hot cakes for awhile and finally did. They are awesome, moist and soft. It's a great meal in itself. We enjoy the food and the staff at Tip Top. Great place to go for a light meal or a fabulous lunch. The hot meals are more than enough for one. We often have a doggie bag.

Long lines so you know it's gonna be good! Not a fancy place mind you but quick delicious food. My only gripe was horrible coffee. You would think with the Kauai coffee plantations they could serve better? I ate Saimin wonton yum! My honey had loco moco and it was good.
