Came here on our last morning on the way to airport. Had the breakfast sandwich with jalapenos -- very yummy and filling. Try to get a seat on the second floor -- although tiny, it has a nice view of the beach and nice breeze coming in. Great place for a quick bite or take out.

We ate breakfast here - I had the mushroom omelette which was really good, there was a lot of it so I did not manage to eat it all. They have a small upstairs seating area so you can look out at the ocean while you eat.

Delicious and inexpensive. I had the breakfast sandwich with jalapeños. Opens early, I think at 6am daily.

I had a breakfast sandwich here (Portuguese sausage, lettuce, tomato and cheese) and it was relatively inexpensive (5.95), very tasty, quick, and served by friendly people. Many people seemed to be getting the french toast breakfast which looked pretty good if you are into that! It has cute outdoor picnic tables near the beach which makes for a nice place... More

I wasn't really sure weather to give this a three or a four "star" review. It was a cute little shack, very inexpensive but the food was not amazing by any means. My burger was a little dry as was my omelette for breakfast. But we went back after going there once so it obviously was worth it! We stayed... More

I call it a shack, but the food is good and literally half the cost of other places nearby. My standard compare is the Loco Moco where here it was like $7 and other places can be $11 to $15. Marriott had breakfast starting at $18 for continental. Plus at 7am, this is one of the only places in the... More

Great burgers and fries! I am vegetarian and the tarot burger was just as good, if not better, than any meat burger I ever had in the past. My husband also really enjoyed his cheeseburger. I highly recommend this place !! Try walking, however, if you are staying close..there isn't much parking.

Best bang for the buck here! Food is delicious. Food is well priced (especially compared to the other resteraunts nearby). Everything is fresh and tasty. Love the loco moco ($6.95) and their papa burger ($8.95) is so juicy and fresh! And don't forget to finish it all off with shaved ice!

This place served amazing breakfast. Served from an actual hut I got a breakfast sandwich which was very reasonably priced and a good quantity. We sat up top of the hut and had a great view of the ocean. Good for a quick bite to eat.

Kalapaki Beach Hut is a great way to immerse yourself when you get off the plane in Kauai. LOCATION: It is an easy 2.2 mile drive from the Lihue airport. Left on Hwy 51/Kapule Hwy at the airport exit... Left on Rice Street at the car dealership. Look for it on the left just past the entrance to the Marriott... More
