Great View with good food

A great beach bar where you can walk straight out to Kalapaki beach. The bar is nice and food good for a reasonable price. The last night in Lihue took the family to Dukes restaurant which is upstairs from the beach club. The food offerings are good, had the ONO myself, the rest of the family had... read more

We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed it! We had reservations and actually arrived a little early and were seated almost immediately. Our tabl location was perfect to watch the waves roll in. Our server (Justin?) was awesome! He was professional, attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious. My husband and I both ordered the evening... More

Outstanding atmosphere, excellent food and service. My family of four dined here on Wednesday, 22 July. Enjoyed the opah and filet. Recommendations: If you like French fries ask for a basket of the waffle fries from the downstairs/ ground level bar. For a great view, ask for an oceanfront rail table when you are making reservations. Either on the lower... More

We periodically stay at the Marriott in Lihue and eat lunch and dinner at Dukes several times during a week stay. Excellent food choices and preparation. Great fresh fish dishes. Staff is always very friendly and service oriented ( unlike neighboring Cafe Portofino). Reservations a must

We love "Dukes"! This restaurant is so wonderful. It sits on Kalapaki Beach, and the food is very good, just be sure to save room for Hula Pie! The decour of the restaurant is beautiful, the service is good and the view amazing. We love eating at the " Dukes"🌴🍍🌈

The food at Duke's is really good. There are some other places we like for the food a little better. And it is a little pricey. But we keep going back every time we are in Kauai. Location, location, location. This is one of the best places on the island. A great walk before or after dinner on the one of... More

Mai Tais, nachos, burgers, macadamia nut ice cream pie...Duke's never disappoints! And if somehow the food doesn't meet your expectations just take in the atmosphere/view and all will be ok!

Duke,s is a short distance from the Marriot Hotel and the prices are less than the Marriot. The view of the ocean from Duke's is beautiful. There is HI food as well as North American Food. And the restaurant was named after a famous local swimmer

The food is awesome and the atmosphere is the best of all Duke's restaurants. Even the salad bar was top notch!
