We took a special trip to Dukes as we heard it has a wonderful setting, and it certainly does. Very tropical Hawaiian with great views of the water. We had a reservation and were seated and greeted promptly. Our server was Justin and he was excellent. The Mai Tais were good, although not the best I've had. They have a... More

we eat at this restaurant a lot when we are on the island. The staff is always warm and friendly. The food is great and they are accommodating in your requests. They took their teriyaki steak off the menus but if you make reservations in advance they will make this steak for you and it is delicious. My husband loves... More

Visited Anchor Bay for the day as one of the cruise ports, walked round the shops (as you do) and sat on the front line at Dukes where we had a few relaxing drinks and a snack in the sunshine and the rain and the sunshine and the rain and finally dried out in the sun. Beautiful setting and excellent... More

Stopped by Duke's Canoe Club for lunch, so worth it. Mind you, it was busy so the service was a bit slow but the food was tasty! Will go back in the future. :)

All around very good establishment. I encourage everyone to go here. We loved the views, the food and the quality service. The servers are genuine and you can tell they enjoy what they do and that transcends into a happy environment. We had Justin, what a great kid, who also gave us the best snorkeling advice we had all week.... More

If you are seeking a slightly more upscale dining experience, Duke's Canoe Club is our first choice. A large breezy upper terrace wonderfully decorated as a tribute to The Duke of surfing fame. Very competent servers handle a solid menu of fish and geek options. Drinks are well prepared, the wine is not over priced and the food was very... More

We've eaten here many times whenever we visit Kauai. The upstairs restaurant has a delicious salad bar included with the dinner entrees, and it includes pasta and potato salads and--my favorite--macadamia nut muffins! The seafood is very good, too! We ate here twice, the second time we both had prime rib. We thought it was okay, not the best, not... More

We've been to Dukes for the past twelve years, and this time it was a huge disappointment. The salad bar spinach was old...slimy leaves and just plain unusable. The number of vegetable selections was down, as was the fruit. The steak that my husband ordered was a cheaper cut, and the amount of rice pilaf hidden under the steak was... More

Liked everything at Dukes. The menu is limited but everything is good. Its simple food yet very well prepared. They mix up tastes and this makes their food bold instead of bland. For example a Korean taco, or a shrimp salad made with arugula and spicy shrimp. I truly appreciate the portions they serve, I mean they are human portions,... More

I've been going to this Dukes since it opened under the Westin brand way back when. I always look forward to it, and it's still a treat for me. Food is usually great, fun atmosphere, and waiters / /waitress's are prompt and courteous. Get there early for a seat, and then walk off your meal up at Kauai lagoons while... More
