Great, active spot with varied menu

We went there twice this year and had the extensive salad bar. There are so many choices and the muffins were to die for. Both time the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a bit crowded and noisy in there but it's the beach! They have a bar/food area downstairs on the walkway that... read more

I've eaten at Duke's on several of the other Islands and I'm never disappointed. Great food, salad bar, and service. A must if you are visiting Lihue!

Duke's was satisfactory but not impressive. Our table was away from the views and the Double R Prime Rib needs a view more "R's" if they hope to compete at all with the likes of Flemings or Ruth's Chris and yet they are asking for similar prices.

Go to taco Tuesday's at Dukes. Best Taco I've ever had. Ambiance is awesome. It's very casual and right off the beach. I love this place!!!

Great experience, best food on the island. Shrimp scampi was to die for! Also my pinacolada came in the Pinneaple. Their sald is amazing too and it is unlimited-so many choices. Would come again!

In spite of their fabulous salad bar, this place is not a good choice for vegetarians. The extensive salad bar is good, but when purchased without an entree' it is an expensive option. By itself the salad bar costs $17.99. If you add it to an entree' the salad bar is only an additional $3.00. Good variety in the salad... More

I've been to several Duke's and sister restaurants (e.g. Kimo's, Hula Grill) so am familiar with the brand and concept. This is a beautiful property and very different than others I've been to. Service was friendly and the salad bar was great. Food was just average, not as good as other meals I have had at different Duke's.

Love the atmosphere at the downstairs bar area. Looks out over the ocean with the surfers and sunbathers. Very good draft beer and pupus. Love, love, love the Hula Pie for dessert.

We've eaten at Dukes hundreds of times, usually downstairs for fish tacos and calimari, watching the tourists. Upstairs is very nice for a more formal dinner. LOVE the monchong fish, when its available. The Hula Pie is a meal in itself. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. They can accommodate large groups. The salad bar is... More
