Description: Gaylord's offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner...
Gaylord's offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Located on the ground floor of the historic Kilohana Plantation home, diners are seated around an open-air courtyard with views of the plantation grounds and Mt. Waialeale in the distance. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Our 67-acre sustainable farm provides much of the produce and herbs used in our dishes and cocktails. Menu items include starters like fresh Ahi Poke, Seafood Spring Rolls and Organic Greens Salads; Local Fish, Meat and Vegetarian Entrees; and Banana Cream Pie for Dessert! After your meal take a walk around the Kilohana grounds, shop in our assorted boutiques, visit the rum shop or take a ride on the plantation train. Join us at Gaylord's to enjoy the best of what Kauai has to offer in island food and experience. Call for reservations and details on weekly entertainment. Memorable by day...Unforgettable by Night.

Nice upscale place for lunch

We stopped in for brunch and really enjoyed the experience with a couple of exceptions. There was live music provided by a guitar play/vocalist. The buffet was good with lots of variety. I was surprised that there was not more of a substantial main course (roast beef, ham carving station, etc.) I... read more

Easter Brunch at Gaylord's was oh so very good. Not to mention how beautiful the plantation is, it is a amazing place to sit and enjoy a amazing Easter Brunch. Everything on the menu was great! Our Family of 7 had not a single thing we didn't like. Can't wait to eat there on our next visit.

We looked forward to lunch at Gaylord's and we're not disappointed. The poke appetizer is perfect with just a hint of spiciness. The chicken crepes, though not especially Hawaiian, we're a treat. The courtyard setting of this 1930's vintage plantation house is perfect for a pleasant relaxing lunch. We'll be back.

Beautiful surroundings and a very nice lunch menu well served. After your interesting train ride to see this ex plantation and your rum tasting plus shopping in the many interesting shops at Kilohana has a good bar menu where you can elax and eat a very good lunch at a reasonable price.

Four of us had dinner. Covered seating is outside in a courtyard. The staff was courteous and attentive, but did not hover. The menu is limited, but covers all the island specialities along with the standards (NY strip, filet, etc.). Everyone enjoyed their meals. The drinks and wine were first class. The salmon ceasar and field greens salads were excellent.... More

that we went there on a Luau nite...and had the package dinner. Shrimp spring rolls were good.. salad was not edible as it was drowning in olive oil...if there was any thing else on it as a dressing I did not find it... Entree was good, dessert was to have been banana cream pie...more like banana cream soup...

We were a large party with reservations. It was a pleasure walking in and finding that they had our table waiting for us including the two highchairs. The service was great. The food was wonderful. Every one in the party enjoyed their meal. This is definitely a place to slow down and enjoy your meal.

Wonderful brunch, with great service in an open plan setting. Huge choice of food, including eggs benedict made to order. The fruit selection is awesome and many, many pastries available. The only issue: no cappuccino coffee available, which should be at such a high end establishment. Live music by Hawaiian bands adds to the atmosphere.

Excellent setting, good service, reasonable price for lunch. My wife and I each had a cup of Portuguese bean soup (winner!) and we shared a prime rib sandwich and fries. David was an excellent waiter. This review might be too positive because of the Koloa Rum Company tasting we did before lunch, but the combo made for a wonderful 2... More

We have been to this restaurant on previous trips to Kauai and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Our experience this time was no different. Atmosphere: the tables are under a "U" shaped lanai with a gazebo at the end. Live music gives a pleasant back ground to the experience. Service: the servers are very attentive (bordering on intrusive) but are... More
