I was looking forward to trying Gingbua out but the only thing I enjoyed was their beautiful business card. I ordered my food to go so I could enjoy the sunset on the beach eating my dinner. I took one bite & spit it out. Very unusual for me to treat food like that but oh my gosh. It tasted... More

I came here with my boyfriend, and we both LOVED it. Their food is reasonably priced and omg is their Massaman curry fantastic. Very flavorful, and full of fresh pineapple, as well as tasty potatoes, and roasted peanuts. Thai Iced Tea is really great here too. Excellent vegetarian options and attentive staff, from the porch you get some what of... More

Gingbua Thai Restuarant, Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii -- March 2014...I had the yellow curry with chicken and it was great, a friend had the Pad Thai with tofu and it was just okay, kind of sweet which was strange. Both meals tasted fresh and came out steaming hot. Dinner and hot tea for two came to $28. That is a smokin'... More

Some stuff is good, I like the panang curry. I got the Pad Thai and was pretty dissapointed, didn't have a lime or bean sprouts, which I consider part of the base minimum for what Pad Thai is. I've eaten here quite a few times, and I think they have different cooks with different skill levels so it's pretty inconsistent.... More

I like the decor in this Thai place. Lovely tiled floors and shell window dressings. The food.......mediocre. The service.....mediocre. I ordered drunken noodles with pork and it was very bland and very greasy. I felt like they didn't care about the quality of their food as most customers are tourists??? Anyway, wouldn't recommend or return.

Went to this restaurant looking for vegetarian options. Ordered a summer roll and pad thai. The summer roll was awesome but the pad thai had a very distinct odd after taste. Seems to be like a decent place.

This place was family friendly and reasonably priced. Very good service. We tried drunken noodles, and red curry. Everything was close to what we are used to in San Francisco Bay Area.

This little restaurant is located across the street from the airport and the Marriott. It is a quaint restaurant in a little local strip mall that looks and feel as though you are on a South Pacific Island. The service was very good. The menu has many selections. The service is very attentive and the prices are reasonable. We enjoyed... More

My husband and I love to travel. Looking for a good Thai restaurant has always been one of the highlights of our travels. There is only one Thai restaurant in Lihue so there is no other choice. The restaurant is located inside Harbor mall, a nice location with great view of the Kalapaki beach. From the outdoor seating, you can... More
