Good Sandwiches

A friend from Hanalei recommended this place to us when I asked her for a recommendation for a casual place to eat in Lihue. I had the TOPSS sandwich and my husband had the Islander Sub. The star of these sandwiches was the bread! The sourdough bread for my sandwich was thickly sliced, chewy but... read more

Ordered two simple sandwiches,This is apparently too much for them as it took 20 minutes to get our food. watching other people who came in after us,order food and get it before we got ours. And the order was wrong so we dident get what we wanted. For the money and for what you get, Subway would have been a much... More

Small sandwiches put together with little flair or thought. A lot of bread and very little meat. Only positive thing is the bread is fresh.

We went here because we prefer to patronize local businesses over chains. The deli meat isn't great quality and they don't put much on their sandwiches for what they cost ($7-$13). Bread was very dry even with mayo and mustard. Not impressed.

Had a pretty good avocado sandwich on rye at this place. Honestly though the bread was a little thick for my liking. My partner had a nice meatloaf san on toasted bread. Staff are all very young and very efficient but in a big hurry and not that friendly. They have a number of tables. The biggest problem for us... More

I would have to say this is one of the best sandwich places on island. You can get a really great sandwich made to order along with some great soups. I personally love the Lobster roll, and the Portuguese Bean soup on friday and Saturday. It is always better to call and order ahead of time in order to save... More

My daughter's favorite place on Kauai. Treated mamma, Aunty and myself. Delicious very time. Lots of tables in this establishment. Place and pay your order with the cashier. They will ask you for your name because when your sandwich is up they will call your name. Full of tourist and local people. My saying," when you see a line, you... More

We ate here twice on our trip and had the lobster roll one day and the clam chowder in a bread bowl another. They were both so wonderfully delicious!! If you go to the Kukui Grove Shopping Centre and you don't want to eat out, then go with an overfill stomach as that is the only way I think you... More

Boston clam chowder in a bread bowl! Nice to enjoy this since Tim Horton's don't do this anymore. Tasty soup and fresh bread. Popular lunch and snack place for locals. Treat yourself for lunch here while shopping!!
