We went to Kalapaki Joes in Poipu, the food was awesome with big portions. The Hula pie is a must have, it is made special for them from Lamperts Icecream.

Felt like something different from the pricy resort restaurants. The wife had the coconut shrimp... Good. I had the blue burger.... Not so good. Flavorless and greasy. Won't come back.

We had breakfast and lunch here. Large portions and the food is delicious. It does get really busy after 10 am so get there early. The fruit smoothies are a must have.

The food was aweful. I orderd a bbq pulled pork sandwich. It was dry...ir was covered in bbq sauce but the meat was so overcooked and dry nothing could save it. Also my husband and I order avocado on the side to split in our meals but only two slices were placed on his shrimp tacos. Also drowned in a... More

Absolutely the WORST food on the island. I feel embarrassed for Kauai since the people from the cruise ship might think that this is representative of the food on the island. The Southern Cobb salad - lettuce was wilted, avocado was hard with black spots and skin from the seed left on, the chicken was bone dried and tasteless like... More

It was recommended for us to come here for the baby Brie cheese. We came here specifically for that. Ordered a water, a coke, baby Brie, and two burgers. We received two waters and two burgers. We didn't even see our waiter again until he brought us our check. He was also the bartender, so he was very busy making... More

We ventured over to Kalapaki Joe's as it is walking distance from the Marriott. We have gone there 3 separate nights and found some interesting consistency. First, 2/3rds of the crowd is local, second, they are always understaffed, lastly, their fresh fish is surprisingly good as the rest of the menu is average. We had Hebi in A Mac Nut... More

While on Kauai, we were eating in really nice restaurants and just wanted a "really good" burger on our last day. We didn't want some chain, although in a Ruby Tuesday's in Linue wouldn't be a bad idea. We were thinking of more of a local place and this restaurant was recommended to us. We were there for happy hour... More

We went on a recommendation for their happy hour $0.25 wings and ended up having dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was great and the vibe from everyone was wonderful
