If you're expecting fresh, juicy shrimps, you'll be disappointed. Overcooked and tasteless. Never again. Note: We got a full refund

We decided to have a laid back dinner while in Poipu! Savage shrimp has great prices, good portions and lots of flavor! Perfect for lunch, takeout or a casual dinner! Watch out for the firerock shrimp...its SPICY!

Just came from dinner. This is a true hole in the wall place with about half a dozen tables inside and out. We had Savage Shrimp (peeled served in a tomato soup kind of sauce) which came with toasted bread for dipping, shrimp scampi ( not peeled but they will peel it for you) served with rice and fried shrimp... We come here every year and make a bee line for the Shrimp Truck, now Savage Shrimp. Always have at least one order of the Garlic Shrimp, plus at least one spicier. And always visit more than one. Friendly service too.

We thought we would try Savage Shrimp for a classic Hawaiian Shrimp plate lunch. It was ok, but there are a lot of better options nearby. It is a take out place with some limited seating. They have a variety of preparations of shrimp - some with shells on, some with shells off (clearly marked on the menu). The sauces... More

Food just wasn't very tasty. I would have disappointed had it been cheap, but it was quite pricey, especially for a place with no ambiance that didn't really feel very clean. Skip it.

We had a good dinner at Savage- it was so busy that it took a long time to get our food. They offer shrimp with various flavor choices, white rice and slaw, plate lunch style. It was a good 1 time dinner.

Ate here several years ago and really enjoyed it. Still good and happy to see they seemed a little more organized.

We tried this little place out and we were impressed. We all tried different dishes and they were all very tasty! Coconut shrimp was crispy and yummy, aloha shrimp had a nice heat to them with a hint of lime, and the garlic shrimp was delightfully garlic! The price was good and if you like shrimp, you must try it!

The food was good but the staff was a bit impatient and rushed and we were the ONLY customers. Go figure. Lots of character and charm. Many wild choices on the menu.
