This is a great little little hole in the wall in Koloa. Atmosphere is friendly and quaint. Food is really good but don't plan on keeping your weight watcher points in line here. Serve great Hawaiian beers, the Saimen is great, and the pulled pork platter was amazing. Apparently also provides some great nightlife with live music on many nights.... more

Bert Agor has done a great job with this place since he took it over. I love that people who are vacationing in Kauai complain about slow service... it is 1937 in Kauai... what are these people thinking? There is no hurry, no place to go... you don't have tickets to La Boheme at 8PM, RELAX people, it is KAUAI!... more

The food is pretty good, solid but not fabulous. But the service is slow, ignored us for long stretches of time. Who do I have trip to get mroe water or another drink? It was annoying. more

Located in old town Koloa - the best option in old town. Service is average (our drinks were dry twice). Food is overprices (and even from Hawaiian standards). Mahi Mahi sandwich was good - the rest of our lunch was average. On a positive note - they have restrooms which are open to the public. more

The food was super good, I had fish & chips and hubby had quesadilla they were both very good. The service sucked bad, we could hardly hear the waiter talk, he seemed to be in a very bad mood or very shy. I hate bad service. We would have went back if it was not for the bad service. more

We have been going to Tomkats for about 15 years. It has changed very little. On this trip we had lunch with kalua pig quesadillas and the kalua pork BBQ sandwich (w/mac salad ) all of which were generous and very tasty. The place seemed a lot less busy than in past years but the staff were friendly and service... more

Koloa town is super cute and nice shops. This place is cute too, with lots of cats wandering around which was kitschy. Service was fine - wish the chefs had spent a little more time in the kitchen and little less time outside talking to the cats - I am not kidding! We got there for happy hour and the... more

This is a fun little place in old Koala town. The waitress/manager was so friendly and informative that she made it a pleasure to be there. They serve the best fresh Iced Tea we had on the island. Their vegitarian sandwich was very tasty, their burgers big and good, and their very hawaiian type kulua pork plate very moist and... more

We always make TomKats one of our first stops when we arrive on Kauai. We always go for a late lunch and it's been fantastic 3 years in a row. Some people might not like the birds and Cats milling about but it adds to the place. The kula pig sandwiches is superb along with their battered shrimp. We'll be... more
