Poke and more

You decide on sushi, poke, or other combinations. Very popular, and deservedly so. Had great poke. THe only challenge was what to get since there were so many options.

This place is great, food is all home made and tasted fresh caught. We grabbed it and walked down the street sat and watched the people of this small town.

Tasty lunches to take with you to the beach, for example. Mahi, prawns and the chicken were great. Everything fresh and friendly staff.

This is where you go to get Lau Lau and Poke. It's all to go, no seating, but it's a reasonably priced local fish market with great island food.

Awesome local takeout. We had the Ono and ahi. Great flavored and definitely fresh. Portion size is very generous for the price.

Stopped in just after they opened at 10am. It wasn't busy at that time so we could look at our options. We picked up a few different things to take back to the condo for lunch. Really enjoyed the seared ahi and the shrimp poke.

Great place for lunch to-go. Really tasty lau lau plate - fatty pork wrapped in ti leaves (which taste like spinach or collard greens, but no bitterness and no chalkiness), then wrapped in banana leaves and steamed. The fatty pork was almost like carnitas, or like the pork inside the Vietnamese banh trung / banh diec. Also good kalua pork... More

This is a small walkin counter service place with excellent food. We had the Pork plate and the Ono plate. Both were very good and reasonably priced. You can not eat there but sometimes there is an open table next door at the wine shop on the porch. It is a pretty rough looking place but the food is worth... More

Massive portions of really tasty food, both fish and pork dishes were really good. And if you're any room left the desserts are pretty good too!

My family and I come to the island every other year and we love love LOVE traditional hawaiian food. Koloa Fish Market has become a tradition that we yearn for everytime we go. I can't say if there is any better on the island because I never make it past this place. If you want fresh, super flavorful traditional food...this... More
