This place is tiny in size, but huge in quality and flavor. I've to Kauai 3 times and I am so mad at myself for missing this place the first 2 times. Ive tried a half dozen things and EVERY one of them have been awesome. Pick anything on the menu or in the case, you wont be disappointed. Even... More

The food is great, the price is great. We wish we had discovered this place earlier in our vacation.

This place is slightly bigger than a hole in the wall. You buy and you take out. It sells fresh fish to take home for preparing as well as a great assortment of Poki and other interesting combinations of fish, seaweed and rice plates for eating on the go. Very local. Very, very good. Our first visit was just before... More

Ditto to the rest of the 5-star reviews - the poke here was amazing. The wasabi avocado ahi was phenominal. Definitely not a sit down type of place - good to grab and head out to enjoy somewhere else (like the beach!).

The best seared ahi tuna! My husband loved the pulled pork. We got both to go and had a fantastic meal on the beach!

with all the reviews about how great the avocado poke was I had to stop in here to try it out. This place is small but they have tons of choices and not being a huge fan of ahi tuna I love avocados so I stuck with the avocado poke. It tasted fresh to me and I ate it up... More

I'm a big fan of sushi and seafood overall. I fell in love with the poke in Kauai. First night in town, I was invited by local friends for an evening reception and there it was: the best poke I have ever tasted. They got it in a local market in Lihue. 2 days later in my way over to... More

Koala Fish Market is a family favorite every time we visit Kauai. My favorite is the Korean style poke. The average price is about $13.99 per pound. Not bad.

While on a zip line tour right down the road, we asked our guide where his favorite place close by to eat was. He suggested the the fish market. Had the Ono in wasabi cream sauce. Did not disappoint. Fantastic little local place. The sauce was not too hot and complimented the Ono perfectly. Large portions for little cost. This... More

They get their fish direct from fishermen, and it is excellent. Arrive early as quantity is limited. We cooked our fish (wahoo or ono in Hawaiian) on the grill and it was spectacular. "Best fish I've ever eaten" from my mother in law, who is a seafood expert!
