Great little take-out place for Hawaiian food. Service is efficient and fast. We went twice for lunch take-out during our trip to Kauai. We tried the avocado, kimchee, and wasabi poke. They were all delicious. Wasabi is my personal favorite. The kalua pork and pork laulau lunch plates are also yummy. If you order a lunch plate, it is worth... More

Everyone raves about the poke at the Koloa Fish Market so it's hard to not have some preconceived notions before going in. Having said that, it's good stuff! It's a small shop with only a small space in front of the counter, so look quickly and order since the shopkeepers will be asking, "who's next?" a lot until you've ordered.... More

The Lao Lao combo was delicious. Food that's local and puts a twist on food you may have tried before.

Last year we visited this little market and had a fish plate....well...it ended up being the worst meal of our trip!!! well done tuna, soooo dry!, and the sides...well...I cant remember what they were...but it wasn't good. This time around we decided to give them another try, since SO many folks loved them! We are so glad we did! This... More

We had the pupu platter and it was delicious! The seared ahi was amazing and the poke was wonderful. It's very much a take-out place: cash only and there's no seating.

Had an nice fish dinner takeout meal. Fish and greens and done very nicely. Considering the price, a very good meal indeed. Highly recommended.

The fish market was recommended to us by our kayak tour guides and by family members who frequently visit Kauai. There is not much room in the store, but there is plenty of flavor and options. On the first visit we scarfed down the pupu platter with some wasabi poke, and on the second trip we munched on the pulled... More

We were here two years ago and it was great. so naturally we headed to it the first night. We sat ourselves and was expecting it to be great again. We were wrong, very wrong. Our waitress said she had been there two years but we didn't recognize her. I ask a few questions that she couldn't answer. I ask... More

This place offered some very good fresh fish and shellfish that we bought and cooked back at our rental condo on Poipu Beach. The poke lunch and bento box offerings looked tempting, but there's no seating. Last night, for example, we bought seared ahi slices with a dipping sauce, fresh Ono and shrimp to cook as an entree. Each was... More
