Got a fish plate for lunch: Ahi with teriyaki sauce, rice, greens and macaroni salad as sides; all for a decent $9. It was delicious, I will come again to Koloa Fish Market. This is a takeout restaurant, cash only. Service is fast and friendly.

Grabbed a fish plate. Wonderful serving of ahi with salad and rice. Enough to share between two. Great aloha spirit. Wish they stayed open later for takeout dinner.

I asked the Trip advisor question page where I could get a good Lau Lau on Kauai. Hands down recommendation was the Koloa Fish Market. Quite right folks! Thanks :) It was excellent and came with fresh Poke and some kind of rice flour noodles. Portions were large too.

Koloa Fish Market is small and very local fish store in Koloa. I have been going there for about 25 years. I love buying a local "plate" or any other delicacies they sell to eat at the condo or on the beach.....so "ono"! In addition, it is the best place to pick up fresh fish to BBQ at our condo... More

This family owned and operated fish market serves up the freshest poke on the island. Try to time your visit before or after lunch, though. Everybody knows where the best plate lunches are served.

We had lau lau plate lunches, Korean Poke, Kim Chee cucumber poke, tako (octopus) poke, lomi lomi salmon, tapioca pudding & haupia. Everything we had was excellent! Services & prices are great, too. I wish we had this restaurant/takeout in Maui.

We are addicted to Hawaiian poke and when we landed on Kaua'i...the very next afternoon, we rushed to Koloa Fish Market to order our beloved kimchi tako poke and spicy ahi poke! 3 days in a row...we refused to eat anything else for lunch but poke from our favorite joint. On our very last day on the island, we drove... More

Very small restaurant without seats. Just order to go. It has good variety of choices. Food is fresh, but not all is from local as I asked. Some were previously frozen and delivered from other places/country. All food look good and tempting. Food amount is plenty for the cost. However, I could not tell the difference between their food from... More

On your first night, you may want a more casual dinner but that still tastes like Hawaii. Koloa Fish Market is just the ticket. Take-out only, they also offer fabulous fresh local seafood to cook at home. Consider this for other nights if your lodging includes a grill or kitchen. Great little take-out place for Hawaiian food. Service is efficient and fast. We went twice for lunch take-out during our trip to Kauai. We tried the avocado, kimchee, and wasabi poke. They were all delicious. Wasabi is my personal favorite. The kalua pork and pork laulau lunch plates are also yummy. If you order a lunch plate, it is worth... More
