I really wanted to like Josselin's more, but all the parts just did not add up. There are about 15 appetizer sized tapas about $15 each, and then some larger entrees about $30 each that are still called tapas for some reason. The butterfish entree-sized tapa was quite good as was the naan stuffed with goat cheese. The clams we... More

3 of us had dinner here about two weeks ago, and we were seated next to a table of six which looked to be better for sampling more of the tasty offerings on the menu. We ordered six items and agreed that it was sufficient. We ordered Steamed Buns, Salt & Pepper Crispy Octopus, Kekaha Shrimp Duck Confit Tacos, Seared... More

We tried eight different tapas during Happy Hour (great value!) and loved every one. My fave was the tempura shrimp...never seen anything like the presentation....fabulous and delicious!

We come to the island each year for extended time. Each year we go to Josselin's multiple times and have NEVER been disappointed. This year we brought friends with us (2) who had never been to Kauai. They fell in love with the tapas as Josselin's. We enjoyed the meal which took us about 3 hours...and it was absolutely fantastic.... More

Nice place with good food. We did not have a reservation, and the folks up front acted as if they would "do their best" to work us in. Once inside, the place was half full and still half full when we left. Oh brother. They will tell you that they are not a traditional tapas restaurant... that their dishes are... More

The interior is highlighted with impressive lamps but tables are spaced far apart giving a sense of emptiness. Service was prompt but sometimes too much so. One young woman dropped my dishes on the table and literally blurted the name is three seconds so that I was uncertain what had just been delivered. She then ran away (and did this... More

The food was very good. The drinks were also well done. They made fresh sangria on a cart they would wheel from table to table. The only problem we had was that the service seemed a little slow, and the staff seemed a little young. They spent a lot of time talking near us, which was kind of off putting.... More

Yes, I understand this is a celebrity chef's restaurant. The food is good, service was very good. Tapas are meant to share and we ordered 3 small plates. We had the mushrooms, the beef sliders ( there were 2 - each patty about the size of a half dollar coin) and the butterfish ( about 5 oz cooked- delicious). We... More

I would love to go back and try the whole menu. We had the feta cheese salad (OMG!), the lamb meatballs and the butternut squash ravioli (the only thing I did not fall in love with). The pork belly was delicious, but the 5 stars goes to the Butterfish with vegetables in a miso sauce - the best fish of... More

Nice food and ambience. The small portions of the intricately cooked food is brilliant. We weren't famished when we came here so we had only 2 tapas; lamb meatballs and lobster/bacon chowder. I really wanted to try the salmon/marlin ceviche but it wasn't being made this time around. The staff were very friendly, responsive, took our plates, filled our water... More
