we decided to try this restaurant out as it's rated highly and recommended by quite a few but came back a little disappointed. we ordered 2 sangrias (mango and lychee), lychee being the best but if you guys are not much of a sangria/wine drinker then just get 1 glass of lychee or skip altogether, a glass of sangria is... Dinner in early July 2014... Pros: food was excellent, as a couple we shared three dishes (Steam buns, Seared scallops and charred tomato feta salad), one dessert and a glass of sangria each. The lychee sangria can't be overstated - we had fresh, ripe lychee from a roadside stand earlier today and the sangria perfectly captured the flavor. Plates were... More

We went for Happy Hour. Wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Interesting the way they roll the Sangria sloshing around as they roll the cart from table to table.

I've been to MOST of the other top-rated restaurants on the south shore (Poipu, Koloa, Kalaheo, etc) and to me this is the best in terms of overall value and taste. It does not have a view, so they rely on great food and service. Prices are high, but they are everywhere on Kauai...this is tapas-style, so going with a... More

We love this place! visit as often as we can. This time with friends from the mainland. We ordered for the group and they raved about every dish! I recommend going with a group so you can try loads of different dishes. The new Blackened Ahi is amazing and we are loving that the Thai Bisque is back. Now if... More

My husband and I booked a reservation for 8:30 pm to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. When we arrived, the hostess did not even make eye contact, said "name" and began walking away. We followed her and were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. As soon as we sat down, the waitress informed us that... More

This is always a fun night! There is a wide variety of small tapas dishes to pick from and every one is excellent. The rolling sangria bar is fun and the sangria choices are great and potent! Service is top notch. The entree portions are small for the price so you'd probably be better off just picking more small tapas... More

The title of this review says it all so I will provide some advice here. Keep in mind that Josselin's serves it's meals ohana (family) style. So what you order all comes out ala carte so you order the side dishes separately. If you are with a group of people you can quickly order a lot of food and rack... More
