Okay friends - this bakery makes some of the best sweets I've ever eaten -- the Butter Macadamia Nut Cookies! We ordered some along with some Macaroons. Both kinds were VERY good, but we went back and got more of the Butter Macadamia Nut ones along with a really yummy Lemon Bar. My oh My! Such a treat! Be sure... More

There is nothing even remotely negative to say about Kilauea Bakery. The food and drinks are delicious. (Coffee and Blended spice Chi) $4 per slice pizza special for lunch is great deal. All their food is home/fresh made.

The macaroons were great. They have several glutten free items: pizza- medium size, glutten free bread and several glutten free pastries everyday. The pizza topping are very good but the regular pizza crust is better, I was told. Mostly outdoor covered seating with about 1/2 local and 1/2 vacationers. Also, on the way to the wildlife center at the lighthouse.

The food was amazing and we saw lots of locals getting lunch. The pizza and sandwiches were excellent and the baked items were tempting, but we were plenty full with the sandwich. I wish I had found this place earlier on our trip.

The most unique, traditional-crust pizza I have ever had, and I have had A LOT of pizza. Try the Chewy and the Billie Holiday (we did a half-and-half). WOW! Amazing taste! Baked goods were all great top - macaroons, cookies, muffins, lemon bars. You will come back for more, I guarantee it!

Was in Kilauea for two weeks and had a mocha here most mornings. Stopped by for lunch one day and found they had the most delicious pizza. Wish I had known that earlier in my stay!!

....besides the pizza you can purchase by the slice as well.. As a visitor to the island every year, I make it a point to visit Kilauea Bakery and Pau Hana Pizza. The boysenberry pie made fresh is to die for, and the various scones and muffins made my morning start that much more enjoyable.

When you arrive at this combination bakery and pizza restaurant, order and pay at the counter, then sit down at one of the covered outdoor tables until your name is called. The pizza (as is usually the case at most restaurants that make pizzas to order) will take about 30-45 minutes, but the salads are quite good, so I'd recommend... More

Kilauea Bakery (2484 Keneke St, Kilauea, HI 96754 in the Historic Kong Lung Center, tel. (808) 828-2020, web: http://kilaueabakery.wordpress.com/). We had a couple of nice lunches there. One day we had the soup and salad special and it was good. We spent $10 for lunch. Dimitri liked the bread pudding and we got some to take away for his desserts.

We were in Kauai for our wedding and asked a friend who resides there for recommendations nearby for a great coffee shop. This was one of my favorites and a quick drive from Princeville to get there. The coffee is fantastic, and the food selections diverse, with something for everyone. Lots of healthy options, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free...the list... More
