I adore this place! A little bakery that embodies the cute little town of Kilauea. The food is wonderful, inventive and utilizes the unique local ingredients. Every town should have a bakery like this--one that caters to locals but enlightens tourists. I loved this spot! More

This is a very good bakery. It is not in-expensive, but it is very good. Great cookies and good pizza too. Nice little lunch stop. More

Walked up counter to order...poricini mushroom soup lacked flavor and creaminess but sweet bread was delicious. Ordered the Barbeque Chicken pizza which took 50 minutes to cook, no apologies. The crust was not a pizza crust, more like a bread crust. The toppings seemed fresh but also lacked flavor. As with everything in Hawaii, it was really pricey at $32... More

Kilauea Bakery is the heart and soul of Kilauea. Locals and tourists alike hang out here. The charming open air courtyard, with its umbrella tables is idyllic. A beautiful white cockatoo named Daphne clowns on her open air perch nearby. There is inside seating, too, in this small, rustic and charming bakery. You know you are not on the mainland... More

Bakery has great fresh bread of several varities, Around $6.00 per loaf. Fresh pizza to go or by the slice - did not try any but they all looked fresh and yummy. More

We had heard from various locals that this was their favorite place, some said it was the crust, others said it was the sauce or were not sure why. We loved it too. We chose to pick our toppings: mushrooms, garlic, red pepper and goat cheese added to the main pizza which included mozzarella, sauce, etc. They can also do... More

We stopped here after visiting the lighthouse for a quick treat. The pastries are to die for and the coffee rich and good. We did take out but noted that many customers were sitting outdoors. The service was excellent. The prices reasonable by Hawaii standards. More

Unfortunately, this small, well-located spot has very marginal food. The pannino of the day was ham and cheese; there was lots of bread, a single slice of flavorless ham and a single slice of bland cheese. It was served with a salad on a plate-shaped basket which was covered with paper. This meant that when you tried to pick up... More

After a recommendation from a local, we decided to try out the gluten free pizza. It was WONDERFUL! It was made fresh, and unlike many of the gluten free pizzas I have had, it was amazing the next day too! That is a real feat. I definitely recommend stopping here on your way to the Lighthouse and Kilauea Point. More
