The dirty chai here is delicious...but be prepared that they're aiming for organic and pure so it does not come with any sweeteners. I didn't mind it, because sometimes the sweeteners hide the true chai taste so this was right up my alley. It's a tiny tiny little cafe which resembles a shack, but the location is good and perfect... More

Great small town atmosphere with lots of comfortable seating both inside, on the patio and courtyard. My wife loved her avocado and tuna sandwich while I found my waffle very average. The coffee was very good the ice tea fresh brewed. The service for food was a little slow as it is seemed like it was foremost a "coffee shop"... More

Had breakfast here, hoping for an exceptional experience. My order was delicious....I had the We Found Nemo on their homemade molasses bread. It was truly delicious, with some fresh herb seasoning, generous portion of very fresh lox.....very tasty. Husband's That'll Do Pig was fine, nothing special. Our coffee order was forgotten, so we had quite a long wait. Would probably... More

Went early in the morning, and even though we had the address could not find it. We called asking their location and the girl could not explain where they were, so we kept driving around in the dark, even though it turns out we had been parked right across from it when we called. When paying for our coffee I... More

Here's a diamond in the rough. Hidden away in the Kapa'a Product Marketplace is this gem serving healthy food at a reasonable price. I had a superior tuna fish sandwich - freshly made albacore tuna mixed with chopped crisp apple and a light touch of mayonnaise, topped with a thick layer of tomato, thinly sliced red onion, cheese on a... When I travel I love visiting local coffee shops and this one was spot on! Great coffee, atmosphere, and food and really nice people! We also got sandwiches to go one morning and they were delicious! We stopped here at some point every day while we were in Kapaa. Highly recommend!

Great location near the beach, lots of room to drink coffee & chat both indoors and outdoors. Only complaints is that it closes too early (by 5pm! - most custom being in the morning, but I believe it would probably do business in the evenings IF it were open other than for the occasional Open Mic night or special show)... Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I've considered opening later at this location but I'm not sure the Kauai market would support it. We were open tip 9 at our old place for a couple years and it was real hard. I like to hit it hard in the morning and leave late night stuff to other local businesses. Glad you... More

Even though they moved a couple of doors down from their original location a couple of years ago, the atmosphere---and the coffee---at this laid-back spot favored by locals and regular Kapaa visitors is a great place to sip a great cup of joe and look at the ocean. The staff is friendly and funny---decor is eclectic to say the least,... More

...and they hang out on the front patio every morning, solving the world's problems. There is better coffee and better food down the street at Java Kai. But do stop here at least once for the hippy atmosphere and the local people watching. Sit on the porch in the sun and enjoy the vibe and the eclectic decor. Be sure... More
