We saw this little beachfront place while we were running on the boardwalk one morning and decided to try it out for lunch. The service was very good, the food was good and the view and atmosphere are outstanding! Very reasonably priced and the service was quick. I recommend the barbeque over the burgers. more
In September my friend Sue and I met for lunch at Scotty's. My first time there. Impressed with the view and the atmosphere. Food was good and waiter Tim was a delight. Will return as often as I'm on the island. more
We had lunch here yesterday. Good selection on the menu. Not terribly fancy inside, but I wouldn't expect that from an establishment specializing in BBQ, The prices were reasonable given the location. I read the reviews from some of those who hated this place and was surprised. Yes it is pricey, as I found everything to be in Hawaii; maybe the food wasn't the best thing I ate while there. But it was good food and an enjoyable dining experience for us. Great atmosphere, very relaxed and friendly. I would go again... more

We ate there on Oct 14 with another couple and we all agreed it was our worst dining experience on the entire trip.The food was at least 20.00 a plate, which is fine except the food was what you would expect to find for eight dollars @ Denny's. Very good BBQ and sauces. Great dessert too. Open on the beach side. Really a special view. Great prices considering it is on the beach on Kauai. more

Nothing bad to say about this place! Tiered seating for amazing views for all, the friendliest servers we saw on the island, and delicious food! Will definitely go back! more
People who didn't like this place might be more "hardcore" into their BBQ. I've never had "real" southern BBQ, so keep that in mind when I say that the food here was really really good.
