Group of three. One got the 1/2 rack of ribs and the other two split the chicken breast entree. It was literally 2 grilled chicken breasts with little to no seasoning and it was really quite dry. We've only been here for lunch - 2 or 3 times. The pulled pork barbecue sandwich is excellent, very big, my wife and I split one and get enough for lunch. Service is very friendly. Best of all, it has a wonderful, open-air, oceanfront setting, just a narrow grassy park separating the restaurant from the ocean. Just a gorgeous view... more

My wife and I are Travelers been all over the US I have eaten BBQ in Virginia, Florida, Missippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Chicago, Idaho, and the always great US BBQ Texas style.....I now can add Scotty's as one of the places that I have enjoyed an absolutly freakin delicious BBQ... Having read the glowing reviews in Ultimate Kauai we went here with great expectations and were very disappointed. The food is awful. I had the mahi, mahi , my husband the pulled pork. They have a long way to go before they can call this barbecue. The mahi mahi was a tiny portion , the pork was all dried up... more

May 2009, my wife and I had lunch there. She ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich. We then traded half of our sandwiches. She liked my chicken better, and I liked her pork sandwich better. I have to say that both were great with all three choices of BBQ sauce; sweet, mild, and spicy.... more

We went here our first full day in Kauai and loved it. it was cute. for BBQ there is a fairly wide variety of dishes. We both got the $18 milk shakes and they were so good (they come with a bbq shaped mug) we sat right off the beach and it was amazing. i would recommend this to others... more

Sorry I missed this place on our first 4 visits to Kauai. The food was very tasteful. Our waiter (Josh) was very friendly, but non-existent on refills. We love Scotty's! We go here every time we're on Kauai. Delicious BBQ and amazing view! They get really busy at night. So go early or expect a wait. It's worth it, though. more
