Gorgeous grounds, excellent dinner, and traditional and cultural dance...Smith's welcomes everyone as part of the family! It was way more than a luau, it was an all encompassing experience! Don't miss out!

High commendation to the Smith family for their presentation of a very fun and informative evening! Somehow we missed this on our last trip here, but were happy to be part of a larger group this time. It is amazing how they accommodate so many people and do it so efficiently, yet without making you feel like you are being... More

This was my first luau and it was a fun experience. The plusses include very warm and gracious staff, the food was good, unlimited Mai Tais, pretty grounds and views and a cheesy but very vibrant show that followed the meal portion of the luau. The minuses are that there were hundreds of people so it's a tad crowded, they... More

This Luau was ok, the grounds were beautiful and the food was ok, but the drinks were very strong and Me or my Husband could hardly drink them. The music during dinner was good and the employees were polite but made you feel rushed. The Luau was okay but felt very Hollywood and not very traditional. I will try another... More

This is the only laua I have ever attended but I was told by several other travelers it is the best one. The staff is very nice and the food good but not great. It is very interesting to learn the history behind the luau and the way the food (the pig) is prepared. The grounds were lovely and we... More

This was our first official family luau - My wife and I have had them as part of reward trips before .. but this was the first as a family. The operation was very efficient. We were welcomed , and took a tram ride around the property, had time to stroll around the grounds, - kids fed the birds and... More

The Smith Family has a lot of heritage in Hawaii. The Luau is a lot of fun, it is a commercial event so expect a lot of tourists however there are not too many people to still have fun. The gardens are pretty and arrive early to have time to walk around and relax. I would recommend this to anyone.

We visited the Smith Family Garden Luau on July 7, 2014. After reading reviews and checking with locals, we decided this would be the best first luau for our 2 children, ages 6 and 4. We weren't disappointed as it was family friendly, LOTS of animals for the kids to see and plenty of space for them to explore!! They... More

We took our kids and grand kids to the Luau. We are mid 60's and grand kids ranged from 3 to 15. Get there early enough to take the free tram trip around the garden. Next watch them bring the pig out of the pit while the process and history is explained. After that it's free drinks (weak one's but... More
