and found Papaya's. It had a great little eatery and a nice selection of veggie and vegan options. The people were very friendly and you can tell this is a great little local gathering place.

We stopped here on the way to the airport. My son had a breakfast burrito Andy wife got some snacks for the day. Definitely healthier and organic snacks. Won't find Oreos here.

If you are organically conscious, then this is the store for you to shop in while in Kapaa. A great selection of local organic fruits and veggies, you can't beat the sandwiches.

We only ate here once but it was well worth it. I wish we had tried this place earlier in our trip. The salad bar was fantastic, plenty of vegan options. Check it out it you are looking for an easy lunch. Affordable and easy to find, plenty of parking also.

You just can't beat Papayas! This place is PURE GOLD for local organic foods, organic sandwiches to go, kombucha. vitamins, skin care, aryurvedic stuff, perfumed oils, incense, . . . Lots of really cool slightly hippy stuff. There are a few seats outdoors. Used to be more outdoor seating but now a new parking lot is being constructed.

A great find after just arriving on island! A nice little cafe with tables outside, located in the Safeway shopping center across from the Outrigger. Nice people and a good choice of food. I highly recommend trying the Kauai Juice Co. Kombucha!

Well stocked store- from fresh organics to a little cafe. Lots of gluten free baked goods to choose from. Great spot. We were there every day! It is in the back corner of the shopping center so don't give up before you find it!

If you love to travel, but tire quickly of restaurant food, this is a great place. There is a salad bar, freshly made sandwiches and salads (try the fresh grilled Ahi salad!) and fresh produce ( good amount of it is local) Also, a very large selection of healthy foods. Just a tad over the top attitude about how wonderful... More
