This is our favorite breakfast place. It is very busy, but the wait is well worth it. Very diverse menu for both visitors and locals. You might try the local favorite dish loco moco. Their omelets are just too much for one person to eat. Parking is mostly across the street.

We had breakfast at Kountry Kitchen twice during our stay, and the staff was the friendliest of all of the places we visited in Kauai (and that’s saying a lot). On our first visit, we waited about 20 minutes for a table, while a week later, we were seated immediately. One of my sons ordered the Idaho omelet (stuffed with... More

Home cooked comfort food on Kauai. Need I say more? Traditional breakfast selections as well as more local options. Everything was good, including the fresh juice and coffee. Service was always great even when it was super busy. Get there early to avoid waiting in line. The pancakes are HUGE. I mean fall-off-the-edges-of-the-plate huge. I was only able to eat... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant for breakfast twice on our recent trip to Kauai. Their breakfast portions are generous and delicious, the serving staff are pleasant and attentive and we left very satisfied both times we came!! It is a busy place at times, but worth the wait for a seat! Make this one of your stops in... More

Good breakfast with interesting decor. Small interior so only only seats 40-50 people. Food was good with local flavor. My wife had the bacon/avocado omelette which was unusual but tasty. I went back to my childhood and had eggs and spam with thick wheat toast. We were staying on the north shore west of Hanalei and this was the first... More

There were several parties in line ahead of us the morning we went for breakfast, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. My husband and I both had eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. They breakfast was good the problem was the air conditioning, it didn't seem to be working. It's not open air dining, so it was pretty... More

We dropped into Kountry Kitchen just before two on a Thursday. As we walked in the door and noticed their closing time was two, we asked if we were too late, but they graciously waved us in, along with two other patrons who arrived shortly thereafter. We had three sandwiches (I should have gotten the mac nut pancakes, but noticed... More

After reading all the average reviews, I was surprised of the cuteness of this restaurant. The people here are very nice and friendly. The food was good and plentiful. I had the banana pancake. It was light and fluffy. Hubby had corn beef hash with cornbread. Yes, the prices are a dollars or two higher, but hey...the people and a/c... More
