Not quite as funky, but still very good

We have been dining at Caffe Coco for many years when on Kauai and ate there again in January, 2015. Food was as good as ever, great staff, but not quite as funky as it used to be. We still highly recommend it!

9+ days, 2 islands ... this was one of our top meals. Great, personal service. Delicious food. Locally sourced. As we were leaving the chef stopped us to ask what he had cooked for us, what we liked, what they could do better. Oh, and live music too. A gem!!!

This is a hidden little gem and so charming! We went here on recommendations from other visitors and we are so glad that we did. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I loved all of their vegan options but the ahi tuna was very good! Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The place is so charming! I had their most popular fish dish. It was incredibly delish! It was a perfect night they had a family of musicians play and sing while we dined calm and relaxing with lovely harmonies drifting around us. The seating area is behind the restaurant, open air. They do not serve liquor, but allow you to... More

We enjoyed the outdoor seating, despite a few mosquitos. Our food was okay, nothing to rave about, although I did enjoy my soft drink (Hibiscus Cooler). We thought the entrees were on the pricey side. They did have vegan offerings, though, so if you are a vegan this would be a good place to go.

The summer rolls and salad were fresh and amazing. Not to sell the entre short, it was very good. I would have given 5 stars but the daily catch was somewhat misrepresented -- Ono was described as light and flaky. Even still it was a great meal. One of our best on the island.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Caffe Coco. She had a salad with jerk toful which she loved and I had spicy ahi tuna with a sweet potato somosa. Also a lovely berry turnover with housemade berry ice cream. We sat outside in back in a beautiful setting and they even had a couple of local guitar... More

This happy little place does serve chicken, but also many selections that are vegan, including a scrumptious brownie and coconut-based ice cream. If you're like us when visiting Kauai, it is tough to sort out the dining options. There really aren't too many good ones. When you do find one, it's usually a pricey affair at one of the big... My husband and I ate here on our last night on Kauai before flying home. It was totally awesome and completely worth it! If you want authentic local Hawaiian vibe, a truly tropical island feel, this is the coolest! I love the decorations "You had me @ Aloha", the tin roof, the colors. I felt like I was in the... More

Fish had large portions of fat left on. Quality and portion size no where near the asking price. Inside was dusty, outside looked nice.
