Tasty, local fare

Loved the macadamia nut crusted hebe fish with green beans and coconut sauce. Husband enjoyed the jerk tofu. We didn't realise it was BYOB before hand - wished we had brought our own wine. Nice to sit in the patio, which is very pretty - though watch out for bugs. Service very quick and pleasant.

Enjoyed a unique dinner in a garden setting. Interesting appetizers and main course combos. A BYOB place. Beware or be prepared for Mosquitos.

We LOVED this place. My husband and I are both vegan, and are actually pretty spoiled as we live in probably the best city in the US to be vegan. When we travel, we usually don't eat very well (lots of peanut butter sandwiches and cliff bars!), and are apprehensive about getting vegan dishes at places that also serve fish... More

Truly fresh food served by caring people and overseen by the chef-owner. Vegans, vegetarians, and the gluten sensitive will be in heaven, while the carnivores among us are not forgotten. Altogether, a true delight

Took our daughter here for her 11th birthday while on vacation. Her namesake restaurant did not let her down!! Pumpkin soup and the samosas make great appetizers. The only thing lacking here (and, it seems, in most of Hawaii) was some oomph for the flavors -- jerk seasoning was more of a hint than a reality. But all the entrees... More

Had dinner for seven at 730 at night. We sat out side with good music. Waiter was very good. Really gave you that local home feel. The appetizers where right on. Would get the samosa and pot stickers. The dinner came be with meat, fish or tofu choices.

with such nice weather, most of the dining takes place outside on the back patio. if you're prone to mosquito bites, come armed! i wasn't, and left with 6-8 bites. the food here is delicious and you definitely want to linger. the patio has such character with local food, decor and twinkling lights. it's almost like dining in someone's backyard.... Came here for the the first time 6 years ago. Under different management since then, but just as AWESOME! The Pumpkin Coconut soup was delicious. The two favors worked so well together. The salad with Ahi was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The jerk chicken was tender and was topped in a sauce that had a bit of a kick. The... More

We saw the sign from the road, "cafe coco organic food". Looked online at the menu and decided to give it a shot. What a find! We were a group of ten and had a comfortable, big table on the patio. Never seen a floor of broken glass before, we knew we were in for a new experience. Old, young,... More
