This was our fourth or fifth visit to Caffe Coco over the past seven years, and it never fails to be one of our favorite restaurants. The food is fantastic -- and fairly healthy (aside from that large slice of chocolate cake at the end!). The dining area, in a covered area in a garden setting in back is very... more

I've lived here on Kauai for 10 years, which does not make me a local by some definitions, but I have eaten here many many times. I've danced hula here, had my 50th birthday party here, had my wedding dinner here, and just recently took my visiting sister here for lunch. My husband played guitar here for a few months... more

I am a vegetarian so Cafe Coco was it for us ! The menu was so original, food very tasty and many vegetarian options to choose from. My most fav was the samosa meal and the tofu potsickers. The thai style squash soup was very good as well. There really are lot of mosquitoes so spray before you go or... more

It is billed as "courtyard dining", but really is a gravel parking lot or back yard that was converted to a dining area. A nice touch was the basket of bug spray at the door to keep the mosquitos away. For main course, we had a choice of Ahi or Tofu, prepared various different ways. It would have been good,... more

With a few changes this place could rock! Cool little zone. 1st - Please print menus and take orders from the table. (give them flash lights if needed) They had good live music and very cool atmosphere (island like). The food is very healthy and fresh. We had the to-fu pot stickers platter, the pork sandwich and the new pasta.... more

Our first visit--and it more than met our expectations for food and atmosphere. Friends in their Friday night band No Grammy (which was "on vacation" during our visit but is worth hearing for their fun, funky music) had recommended it to us. We liked the casual, outdoor island atmosphere, and the food was very good. I particularly liked my appetizer... more

Dinner was delicious and the atmosphere amazingly memorable. "No Grammy" was the local band entertaining for the night, and we loved them -- they play light, fun, and laid-back songs, which perfectly complement the cool, casual island vibe of the outdoor seating area. The setting is so simple, yet very relaxing and romantic, too. Food-wise, I loved the vegetarian options... more

Caffe Coco is a great little dining experience in the Kapaa area. I often have wondered why there aren't more places like it on Kauai, so modern and funky, yet with creative and quality natural food. Simple enough concept, but harder to find than people would think. The seating is outdoors, basically in the backyard of an lovely old house.... more

Went to this eclectic little restaurant for dinner. I'm NOT vegan, my wife is - sort of. Tried the Tofu Potstickers, she loved them, I said yuk. We both had the Hibiscus Tea, it was very good. I had the daily special, Pasta D'Alba with Ahi. Good, but way to spicy for me. My wife loved it. She had the... more
