Love this little piece of Europe in Hawaii

Has a beachy SANTA Barbara vibe when u walk in. Omelet so simple and delicious. Americano so fancy. Croissant amazing and warm. Can't wait to be back. Yum yum.

We've been meaning to stop at Hemmingways on our way home to Princeville. What an awesome dining experience. Very comfortable atmosphere, excellent service. They really care about freshness, quality and presentation. We had the fondue and it was excellent! Very good wine list too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We stumbled upon this cute restaurant looking for something for lunch. The service was ok-all of our food came out one at a time a few minutes apart. We all had pretty much the same thing as well. Strange. Minimal lunch options so we were stuck eating breakfast a second time today. The strawberry lemonade was excellent. The one thing... More

We were fortunate to stumbled into the Art Cafe Hemenway while passing through Kapaa on a leisurely drive to the Na Pali coast. Great coffee can be hard to find in the southern and western parts of the island, so the Art Cafe sign drew us in. The coffee was freshly ground, dark roasted and brewed to a strong, satisfying... Very pleasant little cafe with home made food and excellent gluten free options. Vast selection of teas, and great coffee. The quiche sells out fast as we got there 40 mins after they opened and none left. Still, we enjoyed the breads and omelettes very much. Park across the street. Opens at 8:00 a.m.

Excellent quality food in a funky environment. Highly recommended. Try to avoid parking in the lot across the street, huge potholes.

This place is not what you'd expect on an island, but its a great spot for a European ambiance and the food was yummy. Had breakfast there twice. Very healthy, and very filling! The service was good, and I do think it has to do with the fact that we got there early every time. By the time we left... More

Eclectic customers and fabulous decor in an idyllic spot on highway 56 in Kapaa. You can walk, ride, or drive. Best fresh squeezed oj, organic everything. A perfect place for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Highly recommend as something for everyone to eat just no traditional bacon, pancakes, or waffles. But you have crepes, quiche, croissants and other delights

Showed up at 7:30 this morning and place was not open yet. Sign said they opened at 8 so we went for a walk by the ocean for half hour. Came back and place was still locked up tight and no movement. Waited 5 minutes and left. Figured it would have been slow anyways if they did not even have... More
