Beautifully decorated, the owners both French know how to bake and cook and serve. The croissants melt in your mouth as do the Quiches, Fantasic Omlets light but flavorful. Wait staff is fabulous. Great coffee love the Ginger Lemonaide, going for dinner there tomorrow can't wait! Nothing we disliked!

Food was fabulous, coffee wonderful and atmosphere lovely. Very European menu- make sure to try the classic cheese fondue. Heavenly! A family run restaurant with relaxed service. This was our favorite place for breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, upstairs and outside on the patio at the big oval table was the best place to sit, weather permitting. A must try!... More

If you care about flavor, creativity and eating healthy, Hemingway's is the place for you. While menu is somewhat eclectic, German, Italian. Czech, French. most menu items focus on utilizing island fresh and organic ingredients. Then again, you can also get bratwurst and sauerkraut and German Strassburger liverwurst. The result is what matters and taste-wise, Hemingway's compares favorably with any... More

Good food for breakfast! I ordered the fruit bowl, a crepe with cinnamon and sugar and freshly squeezed orange juice. However, the food took ages to come and the restaurant wasn't even filled so don't go there if you're in any rush!

Food was excellent. However the service is slow as molasses in the Arctic. If you have several hours for a meal. This is the place. Food is organic, very healthy and tasty

The chocolate soufflé topped off an excellent meal. The atmosphere was also really nice. Our waitress was really sweet and the chef came out to check on our meal as well.

Don't be in a hurry, as this is a 'you might have to wait but it's worth it' kind of place. The chef somehow gets quality ingredients brought to the island, or maybe from local farmers, and prepares lovely servings with a mind to presentation as well as quality. A welcome relief from the average island fare.

A couple we met in a restaurant recommended this place and we're so glad they did. There is lots of parking across the street which is helpful given how busy the street is. It's a well maintained house with outdoor seating facing the busy street. What's great is they offer 3 different wine 'flights' of 3 different wines ($11) (a... More
