If you like to go "local"

This unassuming noodle house was a treat because it seemed to be a place that locals would love. The building is old, with heavy wooden tables and chairs...and LOTS of ceiling fans!!! A good variety of noodle dishes...all three of our choices were tasty. Our server was pleasant and we did... read more

This place is my favourite noodles ever! The place is very plain and simple but don't be afraid to try. It's very local, affordable and delicious. Whenever in Kauai I have to visit several times. We tried 4 different dishes and they were all delicious. Food is cooked fresh and hot !

We got take out here. We tried mostly stuff we never heard of. The food was good and authentic. Bought two coconuts also to go. Prices were good.

My sister, who loves Saimin and who had eaten here before, insisted that we had to visit this restaurant at least once during our stay in Kauai. The restaurant building was very unassuming. When we walked in, there were only a few spots left on these long wooden tables paired with long wooden benches. The diners were mostly locals...which was... More

The orange chicken was really good and the serving size could of feed two people. Brought home for lunch tomorrow. The chicken noodle soup wasn't as good. It really needed more spice. Overall I like the restaurant and will come back.

Stopped for a quick, late lunch and were pleased with the quality of the pork noodle soup -- meat and broth were very flavorful. Seating was comfortable.

It is really house of noodles. You can select with many different types of noodles although there was not so much difference from the perspective of non-noodle culture. We ordered vegetarian noodle with tofu. The taste was quite OK, although it is not extraordinary either.

This place is not fancy, but the food is exceptional. The House of Noodles is true to its name - it's all about the noodles. They are house made and delicious. Noodle bowls come swimming in rich and flavorful homemade broths. If you aren't in the mood for an authentic noodle bowl, there's still plenty to choose from. The pad... More

Had lunch here this weekend. We got the pork sandwich, and a couple of the dry noodle dishes. Found them all to be very fresh with interesting subtle flavors. Nothing was oily. The beach vibe was relaxed, the service friendly. We were very pleased all-in-all. Will visit them again.

Arrived at Kapaa and needed a good restaurant to rejuvenate. Found a great yellow curry dish here. Tempting menu items like chilled coconut milk in the husk. Bought mango, papaya, and a monster avocado at stand out front.
