Kapaa is a sleepy little place with a few shops and handful of restaurants that are worth taking about. You may not expect from a walk by that Eastside is real chef cuisine in an unexpected place. The chicken is Hawaiian traditional sweet moist and succulent. The special spearfish, yes not swordfish, was unexpected and finished with a green curry... More

Walked in with my wife looking for fresh salads and food at a reasonable price which is surprisingly hard to find in kapa'a. Service was very friendly and the food fresh and delicious. Kale and garden salads were a highlight and the poke was really good. Live music was a nice touch as well. Exceeded expectations and recommended!

The prices warrant better than average food. Grilled chicken salad was 20.00 and there was nothing special about it. My husband had the rib-eye for $30.00 and there was a great cut. They did replace a beer he ordered that he did not like and did not charge us. There was a local musician playing - that was nice.

We ended up eating here twice, once on a Saturday night and on a Monday night. We arrived around 5:15 both times, and the place was empty. When you eat out with a toddler, you have to eat early for this reason! It was filling up a little when we left around an hour later each time. We were very... More

Owned by by a big Check expat - Bartender Cindy was the best. Live music sounded like Jose Feliciano. Fair prices.

This place was a disappointment. We stopped in for 'Happy Hour'...the servers were friendly enough, but the owners- yipes! They clearly did not seem happy to have customers. The owner-chef was doing paperwork at a table by the door and she glared at us. Before we left both she and her husband had lectured their servers in front of customers.... More

Tangerine Martini with Ling Mui rim is the bomb! As are the Edamame in sesame with seasonings. Burger was ono and the truffle fries, too. Service was a little slow for mainland, but fine for "Hawaiian time" - kids loved their food - perfect selection for a children's palate. The owner has a great story of how he made it... More

We ordered the starter Ahi Poki. It was incredible. Lots of fresh Ahi over guacamole & sushi rice. Ginger and wasabi on the side. Portion plentiful for 2 people. $18 but worth it. I ordered a burger...not very tasty. Dry and bloody/metallic flavor. I didn't finish it. Also, as it was "1st Saturday" they had $5 fish tacos. Not very... More

This little place in Kapaa serves wonderful food with a nice little side of music. The seared ahi tuna was incredible but the star of the evening were their made-from-scratch fresh fruit martinis. The tangerine martini was the best ever. To top it off, a nice local couple provided fun music and interacted with the guests well. The owner and... More
