I ordered the Mo Feta Betta for breakfast. It was presented beautifully and tasted even better. My favorite breakfast on the island. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shop is small, but decorated cute and it has lots of tables and chairs.

The coffee, sweets and food are the best in the island. I stayed at St. Regis but still drove here for breakie. Their gluten free muffins are unreal. I for a morning glory and maca nut. The burritos and acai berry bowl were also outstanding. If you are in the island you need to check this place out

True the coffee is great and you do a good version of chai tea. But please let your customers have the option to have organic milk then I will definitely come here more often. Happy to pay extra!

Year two...Kauai trip. We HAD to get back to Java Kai, no matter what. Honestly, we came back to Seattle talking about our Kauai trip and Java Kai for breakfast, preeeeety much every morning. Did we try plenty of other places, why yes we did, but nothing...and I mean nothing came close to their scones (mmmmmmango...butttery and duhhhh-licious) or their... More

I'm a coffee snob and this place made coffee that passed my test. I had a breakfast burrito as well which was good and my wife enjoyed her meal and smoothie. Full marks due to great service and excellent coffee.

It's nice to come across these treats of random yummy when on vacation. The coffee is very good, but this place is so much more. Authentic laid back island feel, while providing very pleasant, efficient service. The breakfast selection is outstanding, from the irresistible homemade baked goods (do try the scones, or the sinful cinnamon rolls), to the sandwich selections... More

that was hily expensive, and not worth it. Americans eat too much SUGAR ! With a capitol S ! This one exemplifies that. Mainland too. Americans gotta learn to quit being lazy, exercise, and get off that sugar-kik, that is destroying their health, prematurely; and giving hospitals a hard time ! No wonder Obama cant get the health system in... More

Great place for morning coffee, scones, and muffins. Downtown Kapaa... however, not much seating. We get it to go and head the 1/2 block to the beach..

Busy little coffee shop with excellent coffee and unique smoothies. Everything on the menu looks good but we've only been there for coffee. They have coconut milk to add to your coffee but it's kept refrigerated so you need to ask for it. I am hooked on their smoothies and my friend won't get coffee anywhere else on the island.

Everything here was tasty- from the smoothies to the sandwiches to the coffee drinks. Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was quaint and featured the work of local artists. We visited several times and were not disappointed.
