Coffee & Macaroon

Took a break with the family and stopped for coffee. Clearly a popular place. The cappuccino was very good and so were the macaroons. I'd recommend this place. We did not eat there but I've read nothing but good things.

Great spot to stop for breakfast on your way to wherever you are exploring. Coffee is delicious and the breakfast selections have all been good so far. Can't go wrong with this place

Coffee is excellent and the food is just as good. This was probably my favorite meal on the island. I would have gone every day if I could have.

We ordered the house Kona coffee and shared an espresso brownie in the afternoon. Both hit the spot just right. Great little coffee shop with wifi.

We stopped by this funky little shop several times during our visit. The service was always pleasant and quick. It's busy and doesn't have a lot of sitting space but turn over was surprisingly fast. Great coffee and snack selections including gluten free items.

This quickly became our go-to spot in Kapa'a. Beautiful baked goods, out-of-the-ordinary breakfast and lunch choices. Enjoyed everything we ordered!

Was looking for a Good breakfast place on our way to Princeville. This place was great. The ham, egg and cheese panini was delish. The pesto added some extra zing, will have to try that at home. Caprese sandwich was also good, as well as the pork burrito. Service is slow, but I found the help to friendly (unlike the... More

We stopped by Java Kai today after a long hike at the suggestion of a friend living in Kapaa, and well, what an awful experience. We were hoping to order a few savory treats and coffees, and our 2 children requested a bagel with cream cheese. The woman at the counter said she could not serve us a bagel after... More

Java Kai is a great local spot with super fresh offerings. The lox and bagel is excellent if you are looking for something hearty, the fresh granola and berries was so good it tasted like a decadent dessert, and their juices are invigorating. The place can look really crowded and that you'll never find a spot to sit but the... More

I have been to Java Kai several times and usually pop in to the shop early in the morning. I can say the coffee is great - fresh and a lot of options depending on how you want it. The pastries are fresh, delicious, a lot to choose from including gluten free options and large enough to be shared. The... More
