A very popular spot with locals and tourist alike. Real home grown Kauai coffee, and home made pastries.
If you talk to locals, they'll all say food here is overpriced. Especially for visitors that don't know the ins and outs. We had a few good dinners here, but none compared to the quality and affordability here. The morning atmosphere is a bit bustling, as to be expected from a coffee shop in a small coastal town. Ordering from... More
This was a great little restaurant with very fresh food. We had fish melt sandwich which was delicious. The room was airy with very little noise. We highly recommend this restaurant.
One of our must stops while in Kauai, but only during the week. It is by far one of the best places to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner on the island! Which is why we avoid it on the weekends when the locals are off work. Even during the week, get there early if you want to eat outside on... More
My daughter and I loved this little place! We stopped in for breakfast and had a good experience with that, so we also went there for dinner. Both meals were excellent and so was the service! The only thing we were disappointed in was that we could never get one of their sticky buns, they sold out so fast! I... More
I had a late lunch here one day, I ordered the Herb Chicken Breast, Pasta and Island Greens salad. I was after something light and this was just right. Service was quick and plenty of space for customers to sit. You order at the counter like most places in small towns. You can also take away if that is your... More
Having read the reviews here, we went to the cafe for breakfast today. The food was average--good, but not great. However, I must be getting cranky in my old age. The place is self service including being told the right place to put your menu when you have finished ordering at the counter. Coffee is self service (good java), but... More
Stopped by the Kalaheo Café on the way to the Waimea Canyon. Not a big café, but cosy and casual. My husband ordered an omelet and I ordered papaya and a bagel. The coffee was very good, as I would have expected and the food was also good. Pricing was high for a café, but not unusual for Kauai.
Best breakfast we had in Hawaii (we were in Maui and Kauai). My wife and I are the type of folks that just want a good omelet, fresh baked goods, and fresh fruits. For breakfast, just execute the simple stuff well, nothing overly greasy (but we still love our meat), great coffee, and you can just taste 'comfort' and 'freshness'.... More
Had a fabulous lunch of Ahi Tuna Wrap with avocado, and butternut squash soup, GREAT! Our friends had a club sandwich that could have fed four people, and it was also great. They had homemade coconut cake, we bought 4 slices and they are to die for. The bakery makes cinnamon knuckles, YUMMY! Wish we had more time to go... More
