Pleasant surprise

We have passed this place several times and always wanted to try it. Today was the day - we stopped for lunch. There was a good selection to choose from and two of us opted for 1/2 sandwich and salad, and the third had a BLT. The turkey sw was really good and the BLT was superb - really really... read more

Finally found a very good espresso in Hawaii. While it doesn't look overly impressive from the parking lot, it is well worth a visit. It seems lots of locals meet for coffee here of a morning as well as tourists. Enjoyed a Paniolo style breakfast with my double shot espresso. Staff friendly and attentive.

This place was almost always crowded when we would drive by around breakfast and dinner time, but we lucked out one day and had an early lunch when it wasn't too bad. Prices were surprisingly very reasonable, it was one of the least expensive places to eat there.. I had a tuna salad sandwich on a croissant that was completely... More

I am picky about food and everything here is fresh and clean and wonderful. The waitstaff were so friendly. I want to eat here for lunch and dinner now since breakfast was so good. I got a blueberry scone, awesome coffee, half papaya fruit plate, and the longboard egg sandwich with my friend. So delicious!

This is a a delightful surprise that most tourist never stumble into .In my view it is one of the top 5 Independent (non Hotel/Non Chain) eating establishments on Kauai. They not only have excellent good food but are very well run with obvious attention paid to hiring employees who don't have a attitude which can be difficult here on Kauai.... Went here on our way to Waimea canyon and we're not disappointed. My wife had a turkey, egg and cheese which was good and I had a make your own omelette which was delicious! We also had a fresh fruit smoothie which was very yummy! All for $30.

Great breakfast place. I have eaten here my last two trips to Kauai. Both times I was not disappointed. The cinnamon French toast was yum. Paired with a double mocha, what could be better to start the day. I will be back my next visit to the island.

We have been to this restaurant for lunch and other dinners before and have had many good meals. We took relatives for dinner, and two people ordered what was listed on the menu as grilled fish. We were told by the waitress that the fish was Ono, which is a very good fish. Two people from our table ordered it.... More

We ate breakfast here on our way to sightseeing in Waimea Canyon. Their coffee is free refills and it's awesome! The food was good. I had the farmers omelette which was excellent - great flavor with the bacon and feta. Definitely recommend:-)

A great and friendly atmosphere, while on vacation my husband and I ended up eating here multiple times for breakfast and lunch. Food was fresh and delicious, and everyone was friendly. There is a cute little shop next door with fun local arts and goodies!
