Food was very tasting, but the extra charge for paper plates and the poor service get Wong's a poor rating. My dad is a local boy and they did offer local rates.

Please don't waste your time at Wongs. We've held a few events here (not to our wishes) and the quality of food is disgusting. They don't even try to make the food good. The fried shrimp is all breading, the lo mein is tasteless and everything else is as boring and tasteless. I've been here 3x and each time it... More

Stopped in right at closing but they let me in to the take out side to buy a variety of pie slices. The lilikoi-haupia (passion fruit-coconut cream) chiffon was light but flavorful. The chantilly cake was delightful. A definite stop right on Kaumuali`i Hwy in Hanapepe!

We came in to sample the local Hawaiin food at this simple deli-style restaurant, but were amazed by the War Won Ton Siamin soup. All we can say it the broth, won ton, sliced pork shrinp, noodle and vegetable medley in broth was the best chinese soup of our lives. You could even taste the noodles!

My husband and I stopped here on the way to Waimea because we heard they had baked manapua. The baked manapua was delicious, but the lunch plate was the bomb! We ordered just one and it was packed so full it was enough for us both. We got rice and noodles, beef broccoli, and roast shoyu chicken. The broccoli was... More

We saw this restaurant's advertisement and decided to stop for lunch on our way to the south shore. It seems that for dinner they open up the more formal side of the building, but lunch is served in a much less formal setting. You just walk up to a deli counter to order, either choosing from the dishes already there... More

The wife had to go back multiple times for the cream puffs. I'm not huge on pastries unless they are decident, occasional and really good. They were among the best I've had. They are also a great place if you want duck...weird pairing with cream puffs but just mentioning they do whole & 1/2 ducks for anyone that may be... More

We saw the sign at the side of the road that advertised the "Best Lilikoi Pie on the Island" and decided to take a change. Overall, we were pleased. The lilikoi pie is a chiffon, so the taste subtle. It might also have been a bit too sweet. If you like lilikoi, Wong's is worth a try. You probably don\'t... More

We stopped in for a lilikoi pie for our sons 14th birthday. We had heard this was a must for anyone visiting Kauai. We agree! The service was friendly, and the pie was delicious! We didn't try the food because we had just had lunch. Next time we will have to plan ahead!

We actually stopped here to get a lillycoy pie. Not sure if that's the correct spelling, but if you've never tried it, it's phenomenal. I beleive it's a passion fruit instead of lemon merengue, wow.
