Definitely authentic, but a bit pricey for a

Don't get it confused with Island Taco, which we happened to like a lot more. Both are good though. you can stop on the way back from the beach even if you are still wet and sandy ;-)

Tried this place after hearing about it from someone we hired. Food was great and prices reasonable. This was the Kapa'a location

On the way back from Waimea Canyon, my wife and I spotted Paco's Tacos and decided to give it a try. And we both were very glad that we did. Andy served up the best carnitas quesadilla I can ever recall having, along with a tasty carnitas taco. Yum Yum! The flan for dessert was authentic, not the usual pudding... More

Paco's has a great location next to the highway outside of Hanapepe town so it caught our eye on the way from the airport to the Inn at Waimea. Despite the sticker shock of $6 per taco, we ordered 3 fish tacos and they were totally worth the price - very fresh sauteed or grilled fish with shredded cabbage, pico... More

We loved the colour and vibe of this place - tacos were good but we ordered a plate of corn chips and guac and at over $9 I expected it to be huge - our kids were fighting over a tiny pile of guacamole. Tacos were good although higher than I have paid - but byo avacados.

Holy god this place was good. Hit it on our way back from a hike in Waimea. Late lunch, so we just wanted a snack to take the edge off before dinner. I should have scrapped dinner plans and just eaten as much as could here. Had a quesadilla and my kids had tacos. Everything was superb. Planning on hitting... More

Near the port so good quick lunch before boatride. Sitting outside on roadway. Mahi tacos were good.

I went back to Paco's Tacos because I just loved it the last time I visited. This time, wasn't quite as happy. The food quality was great, but my 13 year old son dropped his $6 taco (he had meat only, no toppings) while taking it off the counter and I had to pay $4 to replace it. It was... More

I am happy (and slightly embarrassed) to report that I went to Paco's Taco's twice when I was on Kauai, and both times were delicious!! My family and I all had an assortment of different tacos that we all shared, and the fish taco and shrimp taco were the best (although I can safely say that you really can't go... More
