Great Pizza, Live music, open air restaurant

This is everything I expected a restaurant in Hawaii to be... It's wide open, the breeze flows through, drinks flowing freely and while i wouldn't consider Pizza a Hawaiian original, it was fantastic here. The atmosphere is what is the best part of Tahiti Nui. The music was good, perhaps a little... read more

Nice energy, great vibe, good drinks, pretty decent food at really decent (for Kauai) prices. Live music!

We went in the afternoon (just two days ago) and the food was quite good. Mind you, there is nothing special on the menu, but the hamburger and pulled pork that we had were good. I want to try it again later and give it another chance. They were off their game that day since they had a death in... More

We had gotten a recommendation from a local horseback guide so we decided to give it a try. It is a quintessential beach bar. We got a table out on the deck, but could still see and hear a guy with a guitar singing some mellow rock inside. The windows from the main room opened right up onto the deck.... More

We stopped here for lunch on a movie theme tour. George Clooney ate here with his kids in the movie "The Decendents". My salad was good and my husband enjoyed his burger. The atmosphere is worth the trip.

Great pizza, music, people. The bar stools need some work ... :-) If you are a fan of the movie The Descendents you need to visit this location if just for the photo op!

We stopped here a couple of times during our stay on Kauai. First time we sat at a high top table on the porch. We were right in front of a window so we were able to see and hear the local group that was playing. They were a group of very young girls who played very nicely and clearly... More

WE always go to Tahiti Nui because it's Ohana... it's family. Everything is family. Although we missed the blessing of the pig (we don't know why they didn't do it: it was such a great thing to do--when the pig was done, two men would remove it from the pit and tell about the luau, give the blessing, and do... This is not a fancy place, but has a very enjoyable laid-back beachcombers' bar type atmosphere. We went on a Monday night and they had live music (melodious ballad type songs with quite a few in Hawaiian, and even a bit of Hula dancing by the guitarist/singer's wife). We had their ribs and also the ahi--all the food was very... More

She does pour a good Grey Goose though and the Angus burger wasn't bad. It always helps when people want to see an old joint because a movie was filmed there Without that this place is just another hole in the wall
