Description: Our relaxed and spacious second story, open-air restaurant has a great ambiance and best picture taking views of Hanalei's mountains and waterfalls. Visitors and locals come time and time again for Bouchon's Pacific-American menu that's filled with a great selection of fresh homemade pupus, local caught seafood, teriyaki chicken, ribs and a premier sushi bar second to none. The famous Copper Bar serves up everything from soft drinks to Saki, including our very popular Mai-Tai. Located in the heart of Hanalei, we have the perfect gathering place to enjoy with family and friends.

Our waiter, Michael, took us in hand and painted pictures of the ahi with lilliquoi reduction (for me) and the chicken with garlic, onions, root vegetable reduction (for my husband), and both were superb! My fish came cooked to order (dryer than the chef would like) and this dish was quite wonderful. My husband declared his one of the best... More

Simply put, YUMMY! I had Sushi, the wife had fish and chips, and both were delicious and only $14 each! Service was good, the price was reasonable, and the place was clean. There were a lot of carts in the area that I am sure were cheaper, but this was well worth the extra $10 bucks.

We have gone twice this week to Bouchons for lunch, and had the Hanalei and Tsunami sushi rolls. This has to be the best sushi on Kauai. Super fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and is a taste of heaven. The menu items being served also looked great, and we heard people commenting on their choices. The servers were efficient and friendly. We... More

We both liked the seafood combination; really good sauces with coconut shrimp, scallops, fish of the day (Ono on this day). It's fun to sit next to the windows overlooking the street scene, but you have to early (5:00pm) or have reservation. There are 2-3 tables that seat 4 next to the windows; more tables here for 2. Food is... More

We worked hard to find a restaurant with an interesting menu and acceptable prices in the Princeville area. We didn't want burgers and we'd done the $40 fish entrée. Bouchons came out on top for flavor and value. I'd been wanting poke and thoroughly enjoyed the generous appetizer. (It's called spicy but wasn't--which was just fine for me!) After a... More

Seriously some of the best fish tacos I have had!! Husband enjoyed the sushi.. Said it was fresh and done right. They also make a great Mai tai here! Waitress was spunky and had a great attitude! All around nice experience! We will be back!!

On our way to Hanalei beach, we decided to stop by Ching Young village for a bite to eat. There were many options but we decided on Bouchons because of its location and that it had a nice view of the area. It has a flight of stairs leading up to the restaurant that is nicely decorated with a Hawaiian... More

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed lunch, Michelle, but I wish you'd been just as impressed with dinner. The menu does change depending on the time of day, but there are still plenty of great options to choose from, and we would have been happy to recommend some of our favorites. As for the prices you mentioned, we use... More

Nice bistro-gastropub! Amazing view over the town and surrounding mountains. Good selection of food at reasonable prices for the islands. Ribs were the standout item for our party as we ordered them in several combinations (ribs and ribs, ribs and chicken, ribs and fish). I had the mahi mahi fish tacos which were very dense and flavorful. The only lackluster... More
