Pat's Taco Truck in the main parking lot on Hanalei Beach is a great find. Five bucks a taco. They have a couple of tables to sit at, or you can take them back to your place. Only open at lunch so get there early!

Don't expect atmosphere just good food--it's a food truck at the beach--not sure about the sanitation grade, but who cares!

My number 1 place for lunch in Hanalei is this small food truck (usually parked near Halalei Bay beach) serving excellent tacos as well as quesadillas and burritos. Grab your food and walk to the beach or sit at a picnic table nearby. I recommend the fish and pork tacos. Delicious. The truck does not sell alcohol so bring your... More

Sadly we only got to try the jalapeno cream cheese quesadillas, which were tasty. When we went back to try the tacos and burritos we were told it was cash only (the first trip we just happened to use cash without knowing it was cash only), which we did not have enough for, so we had to pass. It is... More

This is a tiny truck turning out some amazing tacos and burritos. Small menu - totally off the hook. Recommend the pork anything - tacos or burritos. The pork is shredded and I wish I could have had a pile of it with a great beer. These are juicy things so lean over or you will have juice all over... More

After a week in Kauai, my Top 5 Favorite Things About the Island List includes Pat's Taqueria. We enjoyed the experience immensely, visiting multiple times and even whining a little on the day Pat's was closed. At the time of our visit (September 2014), they were open noon to 3 PM, Monday through Saturday. At the suggestion of Food &... More

The best grub after a long surf session. The pork tacos and jalapeno quesadillas are not to be missed.

What a find!! Growing up in North County San Diego offers a person a tremendous amount of opportunities in a vast amount of areas. Mexican food is one of those areas. In my vast knowledge of incredible, fantastic , outstanding Mexican food Pat makes absolutely the best tacos that I have ever tasted, peroid!!! I am using a very high... More

Visited on our first day in the Princeville area after reading reviews. Shared the fish and the pork tacos. Sat on a picnic table by the Hanalei River by the sign warning of the polluted water in the river! Was a nice view, then walked the beach pier. I recommend it but it's not "gourmet". Kilhaua Fish Market is better.
