Wishing for a better selection

loved the view and location, the menu selection is limited and lacking. A better menu selection would be nice considering its the only restaurant in the resort

This restaurant is located inside the Marriott Hotel in Waikoloa. Everything came out fresh and hot and the service was superb. Evelyn and Brian, our servers, were particularly fantastic. If you are staying in Waikoloa, then you know it can be a little difficult to find a decent place for breakfast, but this place fits the bill and has everything... More

There were nightly specials at this recently rant that were delicious and a good value. We used a coupon we were given when we checked in which made the breakfast buffet a good value. Nightly entertainment in the bar was top-notch.

Joined the dinner proud at Hawaii Calls for to sample the Prime Rib and Crab Legs buffet last night (May 1, 2015). I had a notion to ask for a menu just in case and glad I did. Off the bone short ribs with a mushroom demi-glaze over creamy mashed potatoes with a side of saute'd Hawaiian baby bok choy... More

Went here for a late dinner snack. Had the pork belly flatbread which was really just bacon flatbread with some cheese and was pricey. Small section of local tap bears. Nothing radically special. Is open to the outdoors.

this place is quite pricy. if the quality comes with it, I am fine, but unfortunately it is not. the drinks are average and food are lower than average. we tried the dinner buffet, and again it was below average with $$45/person.

My boyfriend and I opted for the prime rib and seafood buffet for our 3 year anniversary dinner. At $35 per person for Kama'aina, it's a great deal. That being said, from the time the hostess showed us to our table, to the time we were searching for someone to give our money to, we never saw our "server". We... More

We spent our last evening at the hotel and had a delicious meal and a table with an excellent view of the sunset. The food was good and presented very well. However, there was a stray cat wondering around and would sit and beg for food. Our waitress did make it leave, but I certainly did not enjoy that aspect... More

Friday night crab leg buffet was great. (Wait for the new legs to be put out to get the biggest ones!) The surf and turf was okay. The Paniolo prix fixe menu was delicious!

I finally found the closest thing to Hula pie on the Big Island at the Marriott resort in Waikoloa, HI, their restaurant, Hawaii Calls. It was so delicious, made with layer of Kona coffee ice cream & layer of vanilla ice cream piled high drizzled with hot fudge & hot caramel & whipped cream. Price was a little high, $10... More
