Tasty but expensive...

The food was quite tasty, and there was plenty of it. However, the price was quite more than I had expected.

We stayed at the Marriott Waikoloa Beach for 6 nights during our recent trip to Hawaii. We ate at this restaurant for all of our breakfasts and several dinners. We are not usual fans of eating at hotel restaurants, but this place was great. We really enjoyed our buffet breakfast which were provided as part of our room rate. We... More

I know it sounds like staying in your hotel might be the last thing you want to do, but this restaurant really has it all. If you are looking for relaxation, why go to the trouble to leave? A bit pricey, but the view is par excellence and the service is wonderful.

We had three dinners and 2 buffet breakfast meals in this restaurant. It is the only restaurant on the resort property. The tables overlook the pools with view of the ocean and the Sunset. The nightly specials are wonderful (Mahi Mahi, Steak and lobster and the weekend buffet (lots of crab legs and prime rib). Sort of pricey but the... More

We had been staying here all week and I finally got tired of going out to eat so opted to try the hotel restaurant. It was better than I expected and we both like our dishes. The Macnut crusted Mahi was very good and my wife devoured her seafood pasta. Then we ordered their mud pie for dessert and it... More

The dining was okay, but the service was extremely slow...and it was most likely due to a shortage of waiters and waitresses....the restaurant was often busy with numerous hotel guests.. but you had to be prepared for a long wait to get your food...and $18 pancakes for breakfast seemed wildly exorbitant!!!.. even knowing that all restaurant food in Hawaii is... Food is good. Breakfast buffet gets crowded and a bit pricey. There is a dinner buffet of Fridays but make a reservation just in case. For buffets, kids five and under eat free. Seafood chowder is pretty good. The crab legs at the dinner buffet is what everyone goes for. Service is phenomenal.

This is a more typical hotel restaurant, I think lacking in a bit if character and as we are close to the end of our two week holiday, we are able to compare it against lots of other places we have visited. The deal is $24 dollars for a whole lobster, with side dishes $4 each and the choice when... More

I didn't have the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Waikoloa Resort, but I did have brunch the morning of Aug 3 poolside. It was our last day in Hawaii before returning home to the mainland after a fantastic fun filled 12 days; we were hopeful of sharing a quiet morning with numerous friends and family that were staying in... My wife got food poisoning here. She ate lobster. Service was marginal and the restaurant was only about 10% full.
