Great food and location

We had the breakfast buffet every day we were there as it was included but it was so good I would have eaten there anyway. The open view is wonderful and you have a choice of seating....under the roof, slightly out and further out. You can see the pool area, the ocean, and the garden areas.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week and ate breakfast there every day along with eating lunch there one day. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is Very Good. The cost is around $29 per person, so if you are staying at the hotel I recommend you book a room rate that includes breakfast. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone:... More

We had breakfast there 4 mornings. One where the waitress was slow and a food attendant was rude, but the rest of the time the staff was great. The food was very good, certainly above average for a buffet.

My wife and I ate here on a Monday evening when the food is advertised at 50 per cent off regular prices. Thank goodness! It still was expensive but more at the prices you would expect to pay at a place like this. The prime rib and chicken were excellent. The atmosphere outside overlooking the pool, palm trees and setting... More

We normally are not fond of hotel restaurants in general but we enjoyed our Hawaii Calls meal. One advantage of Hawaii Calls over most other Waikoloa restaurants is that you can order the bar food all day long, not just for lunch and they allowed us to be seated in the main restaurant by the pool with a great sunset... This is a bit pricey, particularly the drinks but the selections are varied and tasty. On one occasion I had the Rainbow sushi that was very fresh and was out of this world. The seafood shouter is delicious. We have also had the nachos with the selection of pork beef or chicken. We had the chicken and enjoyed it very... More

Breakfast here is fantastic, lunch is alright, and dinner here is great. There's a different deal or special everyday of the week for dinner, and the seating is comfortable outdoors. Sometimes, birds and cats come around, and the birds can be a little annoying.

We stopped by the used out free Mai tai coupons. Word of advice, if you don't like Mai tai's they might let you swap out for a different drink. I saw someone else do it. We ordered the hot pupu platter for lunch. It was enough to feed two people for a meal. I had wanted a quesadilla and saw... More

Our last night at the Marriott was on a Monday night and we decided to stay at the hotel and dine in. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and tasty food choices. The Clam Chowder was the tables vote of excellence for appetizer choice. The scallops were good but only two and the lobster spring rolls lacked taste.... More
