i hate to be negative but the food served at dinner was bad. The restaurant offers specials every night, Tuesday is 1/2 off a dinner entree, Tuesday a 4 course price fix menu for $39.95, Wednesday is lobster night, Thursday is seafood fest and happy hour every day starting at 3. The crab was small so more work than the... More

Friday nights at the Marriott Waikoloa is the prime rib and crab legs buffet. Great location to dine with friends and family. Food is wonderful! The buffet is consistently filled. Love the desserts as well. The staff are friendly. I recommend the Marriott Waikoloa for dining or just for drinks...just sit in awe and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Mahalo Marriott!

Bravo to the chef and staff of Hawaii Calls! We dined every morning on their outdoor patio overlooking the pools, palms, and sea. The breakfast buffet was replete with Portuguese sausage, eggs benedict, papaya, pineapple, bagels, English muffins, strawberries, watermelon, scones, macadamia nut sticky buns, an omelet chef , and many selections for the oatmeal and yogurt conscious diner. Delicious... More

Hawaii Calls is the restaurant of the Waikoloa Marriott Resort. It's available for all meals. Breakfast is all you can eat at 29$. Not my style. The Kona Coffee Shoppe can help your breakfast aroun 20 bucks per family... Lunch I don't know but dinner was so so... A pretty low offer for such a nice place and views. Almost... More

The food was not bad but not even in the ballpark of its price tag. The service from the staff was extremely slow which is unacceptable at this price point. There are many other options in Waikoloa and all we tried had better service and presented more quality for similar money. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

I was vacationing on the Big Island with a friend. We got in late one night after a 10+ hour "Circle The Island" tour offered by Gray Line . . . . . . a very good and worthwhile tour. Being too tired to go our to eat, we ordered room service from this restaurant which is located in the... More

Chose a $35 pre-fixe option for dinner which included soup, salad, main entree, and dessert. The food was tasty and we had a nice view of the pool within the Marriott. The main course portions were huge (I ordered pork ribs and it ended up being two meals for me). The restaurant also had a kids menu which also came... More

Had my 30 year class reunion dinner here. Crab legs and prime rib buffet. Food was good and service decent but not attentive. Desserts was ok nothing spectacular for being in Hawaii. The sweet potato bars were good. My guests enjoyed themselves!

The buffet is very good at $45 per person. The steak is excellent and the crab legs are bountiful. The sides and trimmings are excellent as well. We ate here on August 1st. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found the buffet to be worth the price in comparison to nearby food fare.

Beautiful setting, Wonderful, attentive bartenders, but the food sucks. Both our dinners at $35.00 and $40.00 were cooked to dry sawdust. How can you screw up a piece of local fish? Most Hawai'i restaurants, outside of 5 or 10 in Honolulu served sh#t*y food. Don't expect it to change. This eatery is housed in a hotel who has little care... More
