Recently we visited the Waikoloa Beach Grill: the restaurant seemed to be understaffed -- people waited to be seated for several minutes. Once seated, the two waitresses were obviously working hard, but had too many tables-- service was slow. But the more serious problem is the food. The crust of the french onion tart was soggy and the dish was... more

My wife and I just came back from there...a waste of time. 1) When were were being seated in a dark corner my wife asked for a table by the window only to be told by the manager that if we sat at that table the service would be slower as at that section the waitress was already swamped. So... more

This little place lacks curb appeal but the food is amazing and prices are fair. We dined at Browns and choked at the check and tried many other spots but this is the best little secret in Hawaii. One of the chefs chatted with us after serving beautiful and delicous food. But the place was empty. We were travelling with... more

Based on the reviews for other restaurants in Waikoloa, I decided to try the Beach Club out for lunch. It was a easy walk for a nice day and well worth it. For lunch I ordered the Chicken sandwich, which comes on grilled naan, along with the parmesean fries. The sandwich was just delicious -- there is salsa on it... more

After reading some reviews on Trip/Advisor I had to try the Beach Grill. It is located by the golf course, so it is kind of out of the way, which is probably why it isn't incredibly busy. It seems to me to be modeled after a typical golf course grill as well, fairly relaxed atmosphere but enough good food and... more

My favorite restaurant in the Waikoloa /Resort area. The lamb chops are absolutely AMAZING! When we complimented the the chef, he explained that they had a blind taste test to choose which lamb chops would be suitable for the Waikoloa Grill. My favorites included the LAMB CHOPS, crab cakes, chirashi sushi and lobster macaroni. Even though they are tapas style,... more

Owner/Chefs David Brown and Steve Tabor offer up a "tapas-style" menu for diners to share various dishes - a great way to taste everything and get conversation rolling. One of Waikoloa resort's best kept secrets, the food here is fantastic, ranging from fresh caught local fish to comforting gourmet chicken pot pie. But whatever you do, save room for dessert.... more

We are vacation veterans with kids, but like to eat at decent restaurants. We are used to paying high prices in Hawaii. When you are in Waikoloa, you are sort of captive to the selection of restaurants there and the restaurants really exploit that fact, too bad. Other than Roy's, you are either going to pay out the nose for... more

Wow, the food is great! but the portions are so small. The waitress told us that they recently changed their menu and now the entres that involve beef, seafood, or poultry are a mere 3 ounces! Everything is ala carte and the basics like a salad and vegetables are about $4-$6 each... and again, VERY small for the price. We... more
