This Is a must if you are staying at the Beach Marriott Resort at Waikoloa on Hawai’i, as it is in the shopping / restaurant area across the road from the resort. We & the couple we were on holiday with, had a meal there every night of our stay & couldn’t fault the food, drink or service with an... More

They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. We enjoyed their indoor sitting so stay out of the sun. For lunch, we had fish tacos and truffle garlic fries. The fries was so good, we went back in the evening to just have another order of Fries and their delicious spicy broccoli. Both dishes we yummy.

Merriman's Market Cafe had a couple of vegetarian choices which were quite good -- I would not make a special trip here, but if you are in the neighborhood, it is fine for lunch. The truffle fries were covered with parmesan cheese and were very tasty, but a bit greasier than I prefer.

Fresh, well-prepared food, and a menu in which there is something for everyone. The staff make this an inviting, family-friendly restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and an interesting wine list. We ended up coming here three times since we were never disappointed, and, when compared to other restaurants nearby, we could not do any better. And on our next... More

We ate there twice during our trip, and the food was good. We had fish tacos, which were light and tasty. They are served without any sides. We also did fish and chips. They fish batter is a bit thick for the lightness of the fish. We also had chicken piccata, which was the best dish we had. It was... More

We came here because one of our kids was tired of eating fish every night for dinner. We really enjoyed the variety the menu and the quality of the food. Though the location is not scenic, it's really quite pleasant and convenient. We would definitely come back, and look forward to eating at other island Merriman's.

Me and my family ate at Merriman's on Kapalua and everything was absolutely perfect. So we decided to try the Cafe when we arrived in Kona. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed it so much that we decided to return for dinner. Wow, what a complete 180. We were seated by a host and he brought waters to the... More

This is small place with more seating outside than in, so definitely get an outside table. There are gnats (but that is just the area...if you're eating outside these little gnats love protein for some weird reason). Happy Hour outside is the best time...cooling down so not as hot and great drink and small dish specials. Nice wine menu and... More

We thought the food was average. My burger was good but everyones elses looked pathetic. The fish tacos were just 2 tortillas on a plate. No beans, rice, garnishments. The ifused vodka was refreshing!

We had no idea that this corner of the world had such a world-class restaurant. The food was great…..service wonderful….unpretentious. Great wine list. Not to miss.
