My family and I had dinner here while staying at the Hilton. The meal was excellent and the service was very good too. I would go back.

Just returned from our dinner at Merriman's in Kings Marketplace. Well, service was quick--our main courses were arriving while we were still 'enjoying' our salads, which is rather not done, in my opinion. Salads were so doused in vinegar that my husband couldn't stop coughing. The mains (husband had the fish and chips, I had the fresh fish Nicoise) were... More

The food and service were excellent. I wish I would have discovered it earlier on our trip as I would have returned for another meal. The coconut lemonade is delicious! We ate outside after dark and there is a weird yellow light that makes all the food look the same color. When we asked about it, the waitress said all... More

we live on Oahu, and often visit Merriman's Monkeypod restaurant at Ko Olina. Never disappoints. We were excited to see another Merriman restaurant on Big Island, but did not enjoy our visit. Our server wasn't very friendly, and food was just okay. I wouldn't return.

This is a busy, and noisy little place in the Kings Village at Waikoloa Beach. My BW had the mahi tacos and they were quite delightful. I being a glutton for punishment, ordered their burger. I told my server of my previous issues with getting a medium burger, and he told his manager Cathleen. Cathleen came over just as my... More

When we're leaving Waikoloa, have checked out and are killing time waiting for a late flight, it's become our custom to visit Merriman's for a late lunch. The lunch menu is not expansive but there should be something there to satisfy most tastes. This time I had a pizza (excellent) and my wife had a salad that she particularly enjoyed.... More

We are "regulars" at Merriman's - or have been- for dinners. The new menu is better for lunches. Limited dinner type selections. The Bloody Mary is still excellent, according to Moose. Don't miss the Beet Orange salad, fish tacos, portobello sandwich. Fresh fish selection is always good. Nice outside seating.

We enjoyed our first meal here so much, that we returned on two other occasions during our week long stay. The fresh catch was very well prepared on all 3 times and extremely tasty. The salad greens were so fresh. Between the two of us, we tried the fresh Fish sandwich, the Fish and Chips, the Fish Tacos, and the... More

Food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. We visited for dinner and have been back a few times. Definitely recommend for a casual meal.
