Go Early & Ask for a Sunset View

Most people have to pay extra to get a sunset view at dinner (which you will be envious of if you don't get); however, we were able to get a great view by showing up by 5:45 p.m. without paying extra. My steak & lobster was delicious and their toasted marshmallow dessert was unique and felt like a... read more

We could not have asked for a better dinner for our last evening at Hilton Waikoloa. We were seated at an excellent table with a fabulous view of the spectacular sunset. The wait staff were excellent as you would expect from a high end restaurant. The meal was presented beautifully and we were never made to feel rushed (as often... More

Great menu with many tasty fish entrees and plenty of meat for the carnivores. We were treated like dignity and not rushed. Everything was served beautiful and hot and generous. A great evening. Don't miss if you are in Kona. Grammy Sharon

To be honest I can't remember that much about the meal. I do however remember an overwhelming feeling of happiness as we watched the sunset over the ocean and enjoyed each others company. Good service and a great night

My wife and I were here for our 19th anniversary and could not have picked a better place. They outdoor dining area is literally 20 yards from the oceanfront. There is not a beach, just big huge surf and great sunset views. Our server, Romel, was just fantastic. Very attentive, great recommendations, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had... More

First, get here early to enjoy the sunset. If it is past this time, it is often very dark to eat outside as you don’t see any scenery except people having dinner. Perhaps with a full moon it might be good. It rained twice and we ate inside twice (once from sitting outside and it started to rain). Service was... More

This is the second time I have eaten here and the food is always excellent. The beach side setting is amazing for sunsets and the staff provide excellent service and are very familiar with the menu. The combination of seafood and steaks is great. Lots of island fresh fish and shellfish. We will eat here every time we come to... More

I was a bit put off when we made the reservation as we were told there was a $25 per head charge just to reserve the ocean front tables, but we went ahead with the reservation because it was such beautiful scenery. After we were seated we were given complimentary crab cake appetizers and a glass of sparkling wine. The... More
