Great food

As all food in Hawaii is expensive, at Romania you get great service and very good Italian food, our waitress Jennifer was spot on with service, and a great attitude, filling all our needs, a very pleasent surprise. We will return again, just another good reason to return to Hawaii.

This restaurant is a fine place for a casual mid range meal. We found it to be consistant with other Macaroni Grills that we have visited.

Really good food. My husband Had the grilled salmon which was done to perfection and I had the eggplant parm. Large portion size, very tasty food. Hawaii is overall expensive so the prices were reasonable for what we got.

We ate here twice during our vacation as a break from the restaurants at the Hilton. Both times, the wait staff were excellent and very friendly. Food was good, nothing phenomenal but solid. Having been to Waikaloa twice, this is our "go to" for off resort meals close to the Hilton.

Usually love macaroni grills but this location lacks flavor and service was mediocre. Ordered chicken scaloppine which should have a lemon flavor. Not this one and the chicken was very dry hard to cut.

We have visited here several times through the years. Their menu is very limited...not at all like it is in the state side. Prices are extemly more than typical Macaroni Grill. Service is average and it is very loud.

If you do not want the local food you can safely eat at the Macaroni Grill. It offers pasta and Pizza dishes congruent with the mainland.

Went here for lunch on new years eve day. The restaurant was all but empty, and we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive, and the portions were huge for the money. Despite trying our best, we needed to go boxes. The Margarita flat bread and pasta pomodoro were our favorites. I never expect more than average from a... More

We went to Macaroni Grill after watching a cute Xmas Performance by the local dance school. The Macaroni Grill Service was so bad. The food was expensive for what we received. I had the Wedge which was OK - can not botch that up too much. They totally forgot one of our orders. We left very disappointed.

It took over 15 minutes to just see our waiter and get glasses of water. It then took another 10 minutes to receive bread. We got frustrated with the waiter then he told us he was new and doing his best. I felt for him because he seemed to be behind on the learning curve. Food was good but service... More
