Positive is the location and view but the food is very poor. I watched them pick up a frozen bag of Shrimp like you can buy at costco to put in the fried. The soup also tasted like it was from a can. It was a disappointing first meal in waikoloa so I recommend looking elsewhere before stopping here

When we arrived in Waikola we were hungry tired and did not want all the fancy food from the hotels and found this gem. Just a walk up window hidden in the Kings Shoos but yummmmmmm! Fish tacos were freah simple and hit the spot. My daughter had the fried calamari and Chips and it was awesome--- most people just... More

A quick waterfront dinner. We had all fried items, shrimp, fish, oysters, calamari....... The fish was the best. Staff was pleasant...just an average experience.

The Ono is amazing. The mahi mahi wasn't as good in comparison. It depends what fish is caught that day but worth a visit for the Ono !

Situated by the large pool/lake, this is a small "take out" type of restaurant that's easy to overlook. Don't, if you like fish and chips. We had one meal here and it was excellent. People were busy but friendly. Would definitely go back the next time I'm on the Big Island.

Well I wouldn't rush back here. Not that it was bad. It was just ok at best. They certainly need to figure out how to make cole slaw. But at least the view is very nice eating out on their patio overlooking the man made lake!

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Fish was fresh and the fruits were crisp. Everything tasted good

The fish and chips were delicious and we enjoyed this casual setting for a fast dinner. The fish taco looked delicious and we will try it next time. Great entertainment in the center nearby on Tuesday evenings.

The wait is long, and the prices aren't worth what you get. After roasting in the sun for nearly half an hour, we got our food. It's fine fried stuff, but the fries, fish and shrimp all just tasted like fried lump. Compared to Ruth's Chris or resort food, it's cheap eating... but it wasn't quite the destination I had... We have eaten here twice when we have just arrived from the mainland and have needed something quick and hearty before bed. Good fast local food at a take-out counter, reasonably priced, with outdoor, covered seating adjacent.
