There aren't many casual dining places around Waikoloa Beach resort - Island Fish & Chips is about your only choice. The food is pricey for counter service and average quality - my most disappointing meal in Hawaii.

This is a wonderful little place in the back, near the pond at the King's Shops in Waikoloa. We ate here a couple of times because the food was good, and it was much less pricey than most of the restaurants in the area. They serve the catch of the day prepared as you like it (grilled, fish and chips,... More

We came here for breakfast. The selection of breakfast items is limited, but then again this is a little shack window overlooking a large pond. The food was reasonably priced and was pretty good. If you don't want to cook, make instant oatmeal in your condo, or drop a small fortune at the Marriott or Hilton, this would be a... More

This place was very good. The fish seems fresh and was very tasty. Great cheap place to grab food in the otherwise very expensive Hawaii food scene.

Sometimes for lunch you're just looking for something fast and cheap. The day we tried Island Fish & Chips, it was one of those times. We had the fish and chips, shrimp, calamari and crab cakes. You place your order at the window and are given a number which they will call out when your food is ready. Our food... More

Ordered fish and chips, fish tacos, and popcorn chicken for the kids...everything was cooked to order! Came out piping hot. Even the kids meal was great. Nice little place with water front seating! Excellent for a quick relatively inexpensive meal.

Always make a stop here where the local much on totally fresh, battered as you order fish and chips and shrimp. Simple food that is well prepared and delicious. A great buy.

I went to island fish and chips for lunch on my first day in Hawaii. The fish and chips were good (although I am admittedly not an expert), however the grilled fish was completely unseasoned and flavorless at best. The spot does have a nice lake view and appears to be cheaper than ore options nearby. As long as you... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a person working in a shop here. It is not really a restaurant because you walk up to a window to order and then wait for them to call your number to get your food. That being said, the food was realllly good, and very reasonably priced. Seating is all outdoors - kind... More

Very reasonably priced alternative for lunch (and now breakfast). Very tasty and fresh seafood and chicken. You can sit outside along the banks of the Lagoon at Kings Market place. Quick and good service.
