What a cool event! The dancers were extremely talented, the music was entertaining and fun, and even the food blew my mind! I recommend this to anyone! (And get there early before the line gets too long if you want good seats.)

Went to this Luau with a group of 10 (family). We had kids in the 4-14 range, so decided to give it a shot. Unlimited drinks from a limited menu, and the lines were all pretty reasonable. Food was much better than I expected (having been at a number of 'disneyesque' venues before). The entertainment was solid, being a sequence... More

Your experience with this overpriced dinner show can be very different depending on when you arrive and who happens to seat you. First off, this thing is expensive. And if you want to get a seat in the front half of the seating (closer to the stage) you must pay another $25 per person for VIP seating. They say that... More

This was my first & only luau so I don't know how it compares to others. The show was more entertaining than expected & the food was good & never ending. If you go, get the VIP seating & stand in line by 4:45. If they tell you the VIP seating is sold out, ask them to double check, especially... More

The show was very good, although maybe Auntie Tutu should get less time. The fire-dance at the end was amazing. This guy was working really hard and did some very creative stuff.

Okay, let's talk LUAU. I seriously fretted over this. I read a poor review on this site that made me not want to attend the luau at the Hilton. I wanted my kids to have a great luau experience that they would never forget. We have gone to Paradise Cove on Oahu three times and we love it. It has... More

Chose this luau because we were given a discount for staying at Kings land, one of the Hilton timeshare properties. Tickets were still $99 per adult and $43 for 8 yr old grandson. Luckily our granddaughter was free. Thought it would be a wonderful experience for them since it was at the Hilton with its beautiful location. No. The luau... More

My friends went to another luau and said that they liked this one way more! It was longer and told more of the history of the islands.

The music and dancing was very good. The MC/main singer wasn't that great. The food was plentiful but tasteless. The food all looked good but just was so plain. I am not sure if this is the Hilton's fault or whether Hawaiian luau food is supposed to be plain tasting. I have never liked any luau food - I just... More

If you're staying at Hilton Waikoloa definitely a must do. The whole Luau experience can be a bit cliche but this one is worth it. The show is good, the food is good (despite the buffet style) and open bar-just a wonderful evening.
