We have been to the luau at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu as well as the Polynesian Culture Center. Each one is a different experience and adds their own unique perspective. We enjoyed this a great deal. The food was good and about the same as the HHV luau but was not as good as the PCC.

The entertainment was okay especially if it is your first time. I would not recommend it for locals. The food is plentyful and good. The one exception is one small bowl of poi for then entire luau and NO bowls! I had to substitute a water cup for a bowl and ended up eating almost half of the serving bowls.... More

The best reason for going to this Luau is to say you've been and know not to bother going again. Everything is average at best. Everyone is crowded into an amphitheater and given a time to line up for the BBQ food. The food is OK. The show has its moments - like how to open a coconut by hand.... More

I have been traveling to Hawaii since 1988 and have always avoided the Luau. I thought we were not a buffet or Poi kinda family. My nephew visited me in Hawaii and he really wanted to go...so I succumbed. The Legends of the Pacific was touted as the number one Luau on the Big Island. We found the $ 112... More

We have been to luaus before on lawn or beach - the roast pig is usually presented, they give leis, the dancers ride up on canoes. None of that here and our chairs were facing sideways rather than to the stage. My kids couldn't see well. The night ended an hour early. Save your money or find another luau option.

We had a great time at this luau, the food was tasty and the show was wonderful. I really liked the fire thrower, and dessert selection. I have only been to this luau, so I have no basis for comparison, but our group had a good time.

Where do u start. I'll start around 10:00am in the morning on Tuesday when my husband and I planned to attend the luau. 10am was when it quit raining that day. Well it was about 12 when I noticed a voicemail notifying me that the luau was moved indoors due to inclement weather. Disappointment doesn't describe the feeling we felt... More

We spent 287$ for two with premier seating. The drinks were extremely, extremely sugary and watered down. The MC - Aunty Tutu was nothing short of annoying with her chatter and the food was beyond disappointing. It is a buffet line with a large part being salad and fruit. The salad consisted of romaine, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots ( worse... More

Food was good but bar service is slow. Show just ok, nothing special compared to other Luaus that we have been to.
